Michael Cristofer (born Michael Procaccino in Trenton New Jersey—January 22, 1945) is an American actor, director, and writer. He has written several plays, one of which—The Shadow Box—won the Pulitzer Prize for drama in 1977. It was subsequently adapted into a TV film written by Cristofer and directed by Paul Newman. He has since written and directed widely for film and television. As an actor he may be best known as executive Philip price on Mr. Robot.
