A lot of things happened, but she's currently either 19 or 20, but 19 seems more likely.

I'd say more, but if you're not totally familiar with the series, I'd rather not spoil.

I know there's time skips. I think an unusual take on one where the main characters don't age but the rest of the world does (frozen or something I think?) and a more conventional one.

Oh. Ok then.

So yeah, she starts as 17, then she (along with a few other characters) get frozen in time for 7 years while the rest of the world moves on. So she's physically 17 while chronologically 24. Then another time skip happens after 3 different arcs (the Grand Magic Games, Sun Village, and Tartaros), where she'd be 18. Then there's another time skip between the end of the anime and 100 Years Quest, putting her at 19....maybe. At one point, it gets confirmed that 9 years have passed by another character, but I also recall hearing that Lucy's birthday happened on the first day of the Grand Magic Games, meaning she was 18 already, and would be 20 now. But I've never seen anything else that corroborates her birthday happening at that time, so I'd say she's 19.

The drinking age is 15 for whatever that's worth iirc. It's not exactly tied to adulthood as a concept but it's pretty close. Plus guild membership and jobs don't exactly seem to have an age limit lol.

@Handsome Rebel Late but yeah we never get bdays and all but I assume she's 20. I believe 20 is more likely I mean Juvia said 413 days and all before the tartaros timeskip so by the GMG she'd be 18 around then. So I say 20 is accurate

Well illusion was the obvious bet here. Dunno how this guy's gonna deal with Lucy, Wendy and Gray though lol.

Oh hey a guy who's gimmick speech isn't annoying that's nice. Fire make huh? Is he gonna plagiarize Gray even further and be the Fire Devil Slayer? Though by all accounts that shouldn't be inedible to dragon slayers, unless the whole END thing gets in the way. But hey, finally a not annoying dude. And Natsu gets captured. Probably gonna rampage inside that guy later on.

Huh, wonder if Wed(really random names this time around btw) is someone we know or just some battle junkie. Either way he's probably got round 1 in the bag. Shame about round 2.

Natsu had trouble eating the Fire God Slayers flames too at first.

He seemed to realize he wouldn't be able to eat it before he got a fire sword to the face however.

Still, it never dawned on me that there might be other elemental versions of Grey's magic. Interesting little bit of world building.

Oh so Wed is just a guy(or gal maybe?) looking for a fight. Respectable enough motivation. Kinda boring powerwise so far though.

Still, are the girls gonna stumble around like idiots while Gray fights empty space like an idiot? I imagine they'll each find out the illusion guy on their own at least, but who knows.

Seeing the Deadrock guy did make me laugh though.

So is the bartender there just seeing nothing? Is he wondering what the rest of them are doing?

If you check the page where the illusion guy is mocking them you'll see they run into a wall of flame he conjured right out of the bar's door, which is pretty funny. I guess he's just gonna wait for them to burn to death inside the illusion flames. I did notice that Carla and Happy's silhouette can't be seen inside the fire, and we didn't get them meeting any other Mashima characters, so maybe they'll be doing the saving here.
