I'll (mostly) copy and paste this from my own thread:
The Happy Video Game Nerd page is very outdated and in desperate need of a complete overhaul. For one thing, the page still uses the Happy Video Game Nerd name even though Derek (the channel owner) changed the channel's name to Stop Skeletons From Fighting 7 years ago, the picture is low quality and needs to be replaced, and the page description is very outdated, as in it barely mentions his new alias.
I propose we:
- Change the page's name to Stop Skeletons From Fighting
- Replace the photo (I'm thinking with the channel's logo or at least a higher quality photo of him, we can start an Image-Pickin' thread)
- Rewrite the description
- Categorize tropes that apply to HVGN into it's own folder
- Add new tropes that apply to SSFF
- I also think the Awesome, Heartwarming, and Tearjerker pages should be cut since the Tearjerker page only has one example, the others have two each, and on the other two pages, the second example is just James Rolfe being subscribed to the channel. Also the only other entry on Awesome is just him covering the Chip n' Dale theme song which would fit better under Awesome Music.

pee pee poo pooGame Grumps comes to mind — it has several examples from the Jon era which I think are written as prrsent tense and many are low in context. Not super pressing but still an issue. I can probably find other pages that need updating too.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. So I'm going ahead and cutting the Awesome, Heartwarming, and Tear Jerker pages for HVGN, also took to clean-up and cutting examples that shouldn't be there.
pee pee poo pooDoes Stop Skeletons from Fighting have tropable material? As far as I recall, it's a review show with no real storyline, but I am happy to be proven wrong.

Plenty of Discussed Tropes, not much in the way of actual tropeable stuff (though he does have humorous segments occasionally, they're not on the page.)
Of course the Happy Video Game Nerd stuff can be moved back to its own page should SSFF be cut.
Discussed Trope-s aren't tropable? Ala Seinfeldian Converation?
Ah, but they're not in a narrative? If they aren't tropable, then how does Overly Sarcastic Productions survive?

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576On top of that, it's mainly a Let's Play channel where the Grumps are mainly being themselves, which begs the question of how much of it is really tropable.

Because they sometimes play up certain personas and their jokes are so long-winded that they basically create their own narratives (and have several official animations of these bits), hence why they survived the Let's Play purge.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Man, I forgot about those. Those were cool.
The Grumps brand themselves as a comedy series with gameplay, not an LP channel. That, combined with their use of skits, the animated clips, the narratives that sometimes happen on Ten Minute Power Hour and their creative edits all make them plenty more creative than the average LP channel.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessGotcha. Just making sure we're only troping those skits, personas, shorts, and the like.
We should be, but it's not as consistent as it should be.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. One that bugs me is bow so many examples from City of Heroes still treat the game as if it's still around, even though it's been down for years.
My troper wallThe Present Day has quite a few examples written as if we're still in the 2000s, as well as the "tropes popular in this time period". In view of Examples Are Not Recent, should the page prohibit examples altogether?
City of Heroes is still around. Shortly before the official servers were shut down, the source code was leaked, and a number of private servers are running.
That applies to a lot of Defunct Online Video Games. Converting the pages to past tense is often more trouble than it's worth, because of how often they get unofficial revivals.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. This bullet needs an update on TropersDoIt.With Video Games, as the character mentioned has come out as transgender in a recent installment:
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThat one's much better on several levels. Up-to-date, fitting for the character, and not blatantly transphobic.
Be kind.Perfect. I'll swap it in.

- In Minecraft, testificates in villages have an odd tendency to all crowd inside one house at night. Taken to ridiculous levels when it's a small, 4x4 house.
It should stay as a historical example; it just needs to be reworded.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.In a weird case of this, an entry on EiffelTowerEffect.Real Life uses the names "Willis Tower" and "John Hancock Center" in the same sentence, dating the example to having been written somewhere between 2009 and 2018.
Under normal circumstances, I'd let "John Hancock Center" slide, but when it's directly preceded by the aversion of another commonly-used former sponsor name, it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I'm half-and-half on calling it "Sears Tower". Same as when the Big Ben is officially called "Elizabeth Tower", but we still call it the "Big Ben"

As we all know, TV Tropes has been around quite a long time. Since 2004 actually. And as we all know, the wiki today is a very different place tonally and content- and rules-wise than it was back then.
Unfortunately, as a result, there are many pages that, for one reason or another, haven't been updated in many years. These pages have issues ranging from outdated information, to overly-snarky writing, to bad formatting that may have once been considered acceptable, but is no longer, usually meaning lots of ZCEs and so on.
While we have many cleanup threads that deal with individual issues that I've mentioned, this will be a place to bring in whole pages that have shown their age, for whatever reason, and need more substantial help that a single cleanup thread alone can't assist with. If you've got a page that fits the bill, bring it here and we'll see what we can do!
