FINALLY!!! The Angry Beavers are back! I might play this game now, just to play the beavers!!!

Arnold's always been a peacekeeper, but the Slice of Life nature of his show meant he hasn't faced too many conflicts that outright demanded violence. I think he could throw down if need be, having proven skilled in karate, espionage, and exploration, topped with a mean case of dangerous lumber.

Azula is still unaccounted for.

I’m crossing my fingers hoping that there are still some surprises left in store, but honestly it wouldn’t super surprise me if we’ve seen everybody new at this point aside from the one.

Beavers take a lot of cues from Mahvel games, that's actually a concept that i find really interesting.

Yeah, although I was pleasantly surprised by Gerald's announcement today, I'm still super pumped up about Norbert and Daggett.

I wonder if we'll ever get a Rocket Power or Chalk Zone rep.

Probably no Action League Now! rep, though I'd be delighted to be proven wrong.

A ChalkZone rep would be great, yeah. I figure the most logical rep might be Rudy since...you know, Rudy's got the chalk. 😅 Maybe he'd share a slot with Snap?

Weirdguy's comment on the previous page did have me wondering how they could still make a Rocket Power rep work when Gerald has a lot of the ground of the Ocean Shores crew covered (bikes, skateboards). One idea I had was that maybe they could have the Rocket Power rep be Sam, not only because he's the most popular between the four kids, but since he's an excellent goalie they could give him a defensive moveset based around street hockey.

Still hoping beyond hope that Otis from Barnyard makes it in. I loved watching Back to the Barnyard, and the combination of chaotic energy and the memes spawned from it would makes a great selection of choice for a moveset.

Barnyard has a pretty good list of characters that could make it in on meme value just as much as Otis, especially Pig and Eugene aka Snotty Boy.

Wasn't Otis like usually the most requested character from a new franchise besides Timmy (F in the chat), and El Tigre (who already got in)?

There's also the fact that Otis is technically a veteran from the very beginning. People tend to forget that NASB2 is technically the 8th game in Nick Super Brawl series, and Otis was playable in the very first. There are some people out there who have a slight nostalgic connection to Otis because of that.

Oh yeah that's right, I also recall that in the first game his udder lasers were hilariously broken, so it'd be neat if they reference that if he ever gets in.

Since it's the start of Spooky Month, Ember starting us off this week feels fitting.

Of all the SSB characters to compare Ember's style to, she seems unexpectedly Cloud-like.

The TLDR is that some dude named Randy Stair had a web show were Ember and some lookalikes do some disturbing stuff. Then he killed 4 people in a shop.

Ember has been associated with that ever since. A rather bad connotation but the NASB devs don't have to reference THAT.

Welp, (Idunno if this counts as an spoiler or not): It seems that indeed the veterans that haven't been shown yet to return won't return if a leaked character select screen is to be believed. It also confirms that Vlad won't be playable as well.

Yeah, somehow I knew Azula was all who was left to reveal as far as the newcomers went. Still though, I think we ended up with a pretty solid line-up newcomer-wise. A mix of highly-requested main characters and a few out-of-left-field picks. I think I can cope with my favorite vets (Hugh and Oblina) likely getting cut since a lot of my picks for the first game got in this one.
