@The universe 6 Saiyans' age:
I think they're supposed to be older than they look, though - that said - not anywhere near as old as Goku and Vegeta. Cabba looks really young, but he's supposed to be a warrior and leader with years of experience.
I always figured he was supposed to be, like, a "new" take on the general concept we got with Tarble, since they have no interest in using Tarble ever again. And Tarble was also a guy who was older than he looked.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Doesn't help that Akira generally went for thinner builds in Super's time.
Secret SignatureThey look like teens but maybe they are in the adult range?
Cabba comes off as relatively young and inexperienced but thatβs what happens if you put him next to Vegeta.
I have no idea what stuff Cabba has fought but at the very least, none of them were Majin Buu or even Perfect Cell levels of danger since Cabba would need to go super Saiyan 2 to even approach their power level.
Plus Cabba is defeated with relative ease by Vegeta who was in base Super Saiyan form. So even if heβs supposed to be experienced and battle hardened, it seems universe 6βs Saiyans have never really faced anything in the level of Perfect Cell and their Frieza was pretending to be a good guy so no fights there.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I think Cabba, Kale, and Caulifla are supposed to be around the same age as Gohan, early-20s.
I think they're meant to be teens, based on how they speak in the Japanese version and how they seemed to be based on delinquents / sukeban, which are a high school phenomena.
It's more confusing as we know canonically Saiyans stay at a certain age and only age in spurts. So their actual age is unknown even if they do look like teens.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I always assumed "generic young adult" age.
Heroes is a different canon than Xenoverse right? Otherwise, why the hell are Mira, Towa, and Demigra alive again
The reason his character varies wildly bwteen heroes and xenoverse is because in online. He's just a baby and a cut plot line that never got espunded on. So the heroes and xenoverse writers have to guess what he was suposed to be. Xenoverse went with anti hero while heroes went with villain.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."So I'm gonna guess that despite also using the same Xenoverse setting, Heroes is a different canon then.
Because there's no explanation for why Demigra, Mira, and Towa are alive again.
On the topic of Heroes, I did actually watch some of the anime, and I'm a little confused here, this is supposed to be a commercial for the card game right? But nothing here is really telling me to buy cards, it's just an anime where tons of new characters keep showing up in rapid succession, like Mai, Cooler, those great value Baby Androids twins, Janemba, ETC.
What part of this is advertising Heroes?
Also finally, Vegeta lost to Hit. It was weird seeing him win two fights in a row so things are back to the natural order.
Yeah I bet his time skipping powers really helps out with his job since he's not that powerful in terms of raw strength according to Vegeta.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The promotional anime is pretty much a side project for Toei and Bamco. The reason it doesn't promote the game itself is because the game is already a big, successful thing in Japan. The anime is more or less an adaptation of the in-game story, starting with Universe Mission's Prison Planet arc. There are two special episodes though, one that shows off the ending of the Demon Realm Army arc (which sets up Big Bang Mission), and an anniversary episode staring Beat and Note where they actually play the game.

So Goku lost by ring out, and Hit decided to repay the favor?
I'm legit shocked it ended this way. Huh. I'm very weirded out by how Hit has that honorable warrior who enjoys getting stronger schtick. You're an assassin, and supposedly the best, but you keep missing chances to win because you feel grateful to Goku, and you are disobeying direct orders from your employer even tho he promised you payment?
Yeah, I'm not really impressed by Hit, but he DOES have a cool design and gimmick with the time skipping.
Ah, that's Zen-oh? This is legit the first time I saw him since he's not in Xenoverse but they do explain who he is.
I gotta ask, is the reason he's a child a reference to the fact that Dragon Ball's primary demographic is young children? Even having the ability to destroy all of Dragon Ball's universes feels like a meta joke about how if children in Japan get bored of Dragon Ball, there's no more profit.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Pretty awesome, NGL. I was slightly annoyed they kept talking while they made it clear that technique is draining Goku, but whatever, it's anime.
I'm curious about what it did to Goku tho. Using Kaoiken and Super Saiyan Blue is def not a healthy option.
Also I thought the golden Shenron when they used the Super Dragon Balls looked like shit. It's a shame they hyped up the super dragon balls because I'm PRETTY sure that regular dragon balls can revive Earth. It's been done in the Buu Saga. So I'm left feeling underwhelmed by them.

Funny you should talk about Hit not being a proper Assassin, because the next time he appears (in an anime specific arc), he does show what happens when heβs not bound by tournament rules.
One Strip! One Strip! If you guys could remove one form from the franchise, which would it be and why?
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Kaioken's usage as a form rather than as a technique.
Super Saiyan 3. Removing it means that Goku really was trying his hardest against Majin Vegeta. Also, SS 3 never really accomplished much in the series.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Super Saiyan Blue. I would've preferred we stick with the red haired Super Saiyan God.
Someone read a Reddit post and is bringing in that exact question right here.

Secret SignatureIt was going to be a transformation sooner or later.
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."I was never a fan of making SS Blue just a level up from SS God. It would have been more interesting if Blue was actually the weaker form but Goku and Vegeta use it because it's more stable than God mode.
I mean, in Dragon Ball, raw power beats everything else.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. The Raw Power helps.
Though it's important to remember that many characters aren't Unskilled, but Strong, but Strong and Skilled.
So when they power up, it not just having more ki, but further improving their technique on top of that.
That's not to say you can't win a fight on Raw power as well, but as Raditz can tell you, it's not a complete guarantee.
One Strip! One Strip!
Yeah, I donβt get why Fu is suddenly a bad guy edgelord in Heroes when heβs a funny anti heroic mad scientist who wants to make good futures and doesnβt like Dabura.
