Towering Treetop - Turn 6

• It's Bandana Dee's turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets him a 9. After taking the route in which he is launched through the pink flower, he passes by an Orb Space, getting a Super Mushroom Orb^note Allows the player to roll three dice blocks instead of one when used. Right after that Orb Space is a Blue Space, where he stops on and gains 3 coins. His coin count rises to 5.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets him a 1, moving to a Blue Space just right near him. He gains 3 coins, as the coin count rises to 37.

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets him a 5, moving towards the wooden slide. Instead of sensibly sliding down the slide like most would, he opts to slither like a snake around the slide, stopping at the Blue Space at the end of it.

• It's Yuri's turn. The mistletoe vines wrapped around her leg withers away, but not before it takes 5 of Yuri's coins and sends them Sorbet Shark Cookie's way. She hits the Dice Block, and receives an 8. After going down the slide as if it was kindergarten all over again, Yuri passes by an Orb Space, which gave her a Piranha Plant Orb^note  The space it lands on takes half of the coins from the player who lands on the space and gives it to the player who created the space, before landing on a Blue Space, bringing her coin count to 5 from the 3 coins she got.

All players landed on Blue Spaces, so the turn's mini-game is 4-players.

Turn 6 Mini-Game - Tricky Tires (video of minigame)

The players are sent to a temple in the middle of a tiled field of stone. Karn was sitting on a broken pillar near four cars he had no idea what to do with. A Whomp there told them the instructions of the minigame before instructing the players to be seated in the cars.

Whomp: Start yer engines! Whoever gets to the end first gets ten coins from the golem dude!

Bandana Dee manages to reach the finish line first, but not before getting blocked by a sitting Thwomp which decides to rise after a few seconds.

Karn trudged his way towards the winner of the mini-game to give him a bag of 10 coins. It wasn't much, but it needed to be for the taking anyways.

A plague has consumed the town, summoning Pestilence, Horseman of the Apocalypse!

Can't you believe that I spent a good chunk of this day making these, huh? I realized this actually worked now.

Towering Treetop - Turn 7

• It's Bandana Dee's turn. He decides to summon a Chain Chomp using his Chain Chomp Orb to steal coins from Sorbet Shark Cookie.
  • Chain Chomp: Arf arf! <You want me to steal something for you? No problem!>

  • The Chain Chomp immediately quakes the ground as it closes in on Sorbet Shark Cookie, squishing him (good thing he's not smashed into pieces!) and taking a grand sum of 20 coins from Sorbet Shark.

  • Chain Chomp: Woof woof! Pant pant pant pant... <Wow! What a steal! Here's 20 coins for you!>

  • With the 20 stolen coins, Bandana Dee now has 35 of them in total. He hits his Dice Block afterwards, as a 4 comes out of the debris. He takes the path up a net of rope up to a Red Space where he lands on, sending his coin count back down to 32.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. He hits the Dice Block, getting a 10 from it. He would eventually land on the same space that Bandana Dee stopped on during his turn, but he got a Spiny Orb^note The space it lands on takes 10 coins from the player who lands on the space and gives it to the player who created the space. during his way there. Landing on the Red Space took away 3 coins from him and left him one coin short from getting a star.

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets him a 1. He passes by the Orb Space that gave him a Flutter Orb^note A Flutter flies to the player and picks them up to send them directly to the Star Space, before he stops at the Red Space immediately after it, losing 3 coins and sending his coin count back down to 15.

• It's Yuri's turn. She throws the Piranha Plant Orb 3 spaces away from her onto a Blue Space, then hits her Dice Block. She gets a 4 from the block and ends up landing on the Blue Space next to the space she just created with her orb.

The mini-game of the turn is a 1-vs-3, with Yuri in opposition of the other three partygoers.

Turn 7 Mini-Game - Dart Gallery (video of minigame)

Yuri finds herself encased in a rolling red capsule, demanding a way out. The other three players are nowhere near it. They're in a neon light-lit casino. After trying to figure out where they are, a sentient monkey named Quincy walks in and talks to the three players who are against Yuri in the minigame, teaching them how to play. They are taken to three separate towers where they can see Yuri trying to figure out what to do in the capsule.

Each of the three players receive four plunger darts to try to hit Yuri inside the capsule, as Quincy signals them the minigame has begun.

• A dart from Bandana Dee hits Yuri, making the first hit.

• Another dart from Bandana Dee hits Yuri, making the second hit.

• Bandana Dee gets all three hits on Yuri as she is hit with the final dart, costing her the game and giving Bandana Dee and the others the win.

Quincy comes in and bestows upon the three winners of the game 10 coins each before leaving to go do something else at the casino.

   Malevolent Moment begins!   

Before the turn starts, a black-haired woman in a thick kimono treads in a rather unsettling manner towards the start area, and pulls out an enchanted, dismembered eye of sorts.

Lady Eboshi: What a lovely bunch of partiers. It's time to have a different kind of pace today. This shall just do the things I need. Come forth, wretched demon!

She held up the mysterious eyeball as it bursted into a coalescence of eldritch energy.

The Eye of Cthulhu has awoken!

As the eye that summoned it was enchanted, it was able to behave correctly during the day and felt the presence of Calista. It tore off the roof of the hut she was in as the Dryad decided to fight back.

Calista: (sighs) I have no choice but to get rid of this Eye. Please pardon me while I close up shop temporarily.

• As Calista jumps off the tree to fight the Eye of Cthulhu somewhere else, Bandana Dee makes his first roll of the turn. Before doing so, he uses the Super Mushroom Orb he got a while back, rolling a 6, a 10, and another 10, summing up to 26. Before getting to the Star Space with 19 moves left, he passed by an Orb Space giving him a Klepto Orb^note The space it lands on takes the player who lands on the space it created all the way back to the start area. Upon the Star Space, he took no chances when it came to obtaining his next star, sending his star count up to 2.
  • The Star Space moves towards the leaf-filled platform right near the Lucky Space, before Bandana Dee takes the purple flower up to the propelled spaces above him, then grabs yet another orb, this time a Bob-omb Orb^note The space it lands on explodes on the player who tries to bypass the space it created, reducing the current moves the player had before they passed the space by half (rounded down).

  • He stops by a Capsule Machine to get an orb from it.

  • Capsule Machine: OK, I'll give you an Orb. I wonder what you'll get? Here it comes...

  • The Capsule Machine spat out a Mushroom Orb^note Allows the player to roll two dice blocks instead of one when used.

  • Capsule Machine: Your inventory is full! Use or trash an item if you want to talk to Capsule Machines like me again.

  • Upon sliding down the wooden slide on his way to his destination as told with his dice rolls, he picks up a dupe Bob-omb Orb^note The space it lands on explodes on the player who tries to bypass the space it created, reducing the current moves the player had before they passed the space by half (rounded down), which he takes in exchange for trashing the Mushroom Orb he just got the same turn. He ends up landing on the same Blue Space that Yuri is currently on, raising his coin count to 25.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. He opens his Barter Box, opting to snatch away Bandana Dee's inventory full of Bob-omb Orbs. After gaining Bandana Dee's inventory he hits the Dice Block, getting a 2, passing by the closed shop and landing on a Blue Space next to a climbing net of rope, getting 3 coins. His total coin count is now 32.

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. Determined to exploit his way to the Star Space, he uses the Flutter Orb in his inventory. A Flutter comes to him and says a few words in suspicion of his intentions.
  • Flutter: You seem like a bad cookie, but I still have to take you to the Star Space in exchange for calling me here. Orders are orders! Just hang on tight, you'll be there in a minute.

  • The Flutter flies him over to the Star Space and flies away immediately after doing so, mainly because Sir Pentious looked mighty suspicious.

  • While at the Star Space, Sir Pentious forks over the 20 coins without being asked by Eldstar. With his first star, he is propelled to second place as the Star Space moves again to the area where Woody is at.

  • He slaps the Dice Block with his snake tail, causing it to spit out an 8. He passes by an Orb Space that gives him a Metal Mushroom Orb^note Prevents almost all spaces that are created by orb throws from working on the player for one turn. before landing on a Blue Space, now with a total of 8 coins.

• It's Yuri's turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets her a 10. She notices that a certain path she could take leads to the Lucky Space. Hesitantly taking the pink flower up to the flying wooden platforms, she grabs a Koopa Bank Orb^note Anyone (even the person who threw the orb) who bypasses the space this creates is forced to pay up to 5 coins to the Koopa Bank's reserves. Whoever lands on the space directly gets all the coins in the reserve. from the Orb Space before landing on the Lucky Space herself.
  • A little green-haired girl with flowers sprouting on her head opened a secret trap door under a bush, telling Yuri about what's down below.

  • Alraune: Hey, listen! It's much safer here in the secret forest path. It's magically protected and is filled with candid spirits. Let me show you!

  • Yuri climbs down a vine to a dimly lit forest path filled with white, tiny, humanoid beings with beady eyes. A line of Blue Spaces with coins on them led to a sleeping giant filled with fur. Usually he would sleep on his back, but he slept standing up this time in case someone were to come down to his abode frequently.

With Yuri's turn finished, Turn 8's mini-game choice is 4-players.

Turn 8 Mini-Game - Snowball Summit (video of minigame)

The players land on a mountain topped with snow. There are four frozen pieces of paper next to each of the four players. They were legible enough to say the instructions of the mini-game. After they finish reading, a wild Articuno flies out of nowhere and blows away the papers with a strong gale. It lets out a sharp bird noise as the players start building up their giant snowballs.

• Sir Pentious's cold-blooded nature catches up to him as he tries to escape the summit, but is pushed off by a small rolling snowball made by Yuri.

• Yuri and Sorbet Shark Cookie start throwing snowballs at each other, but Sorbet Shark Cookie's small stature makes Yuri eventually end up tumbling down the summit.

• Bandana Dee rolls a big snowball towards Sorbet Shark Cookie, knocking him off the summit and winning the minigame.

In the background, a sledding group of penguins rush to treat the poor saps who fell off the mountain as that same Articuno came back with a sack of coins from its talons, dropping it into the bed of snow. Bandana Dee opens it as the bag reveals 10 coins waiting just for him. How convenient!

Towering Treetop - Turn 9

With the losers of the previous minigame healthy and now that Dryad's shop is back in business, the next turn is ready to begin.

• It's Bandana Dee's turn. Bandana Dee throws his Spiny Orb three spaces ahead of him, next to a Battle Space. He then hits the Dice Block, and out comes a 7. Instead of taking the flower up to the path that begins with a Duel Space, he decides to bring out his spear he's been keeping in Hammerspace for so long and uses Waddle Copter to get to the Duel Space. He then moves forwards, gets a Chain Chomp Orb^note Summons a Chain Chomp who allows you to steal coins for free or a Star for 50 coins from a single target. It can target any player who does not have a Bone Orb in their inventory., and lands on a Blue Space, gaining 3 coins, resulting in his total coins becoming 38.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. He throws a Bob-omb Orb one space behind him, next to the shop. The Dice Block gives him a 8, allowing him to reach the Star Space.
  • Eldstar: Good thing you made it here! Do you want to trade 20 coins for a Star?

  • Nodding his head, the gingerbread man takes his first star, now in a better spot in the rankings. The Star Space moves to a new place: the Blizzard Orb space that Sir Pentious created with an orb a few turns ago. When it moves again, that space it's currently on becomes a regular Blue Space.

  • He takes the handrail, spinning like a drill, hopping onto a space painted red and black. Luckily, he's not landing there this time as he moves towards a Blue Space, next to the purple flower. He's got 15 coins now. He also notices that his inventory feels warmer than usual, he's got a Podoboo Orb^note The space it lands on burns the player who tries to bypass the space it created, forcing the player to move ten extra spaces and deletes all their items. Only is active every other turn. in his pockets.

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. The Dice Block gives him another 8. He talks to the Venusaur who was just two spaces away.
  • Venusaur: <What do you want? Pay me 5 coins for me to use Leech Seed or back off.>

  • Paid the 5 coins, Venusaur was told to target Bandana Dee. A series of mistletoe vines wrap around Bandana Dee. Admittedly, it's not much, and his left arm is just fine despite being bound by said vines. Passing by Sorbet Shark Cookie and taking the purple flower up high to the other set of flying platforms, he stops by a Capsule Machine and demands something of value.

  • Capsule Machine: OK, I'll give you an Orb. I wonder what you'll get? Here it comes...

  • The Capsule Machine spat out a Waddle Dee Orb^note Give you a free item that replaces this item after being used. Seems like Sir Pentious wasn't amused.

  • Regardless, he moves past it and lands on a Red Space, sending his coin count back to zero.

• It's Yuri's turn. She rolls a 2 on her Dice Block, picking up 6 coins sitting out in the open and getting 3 more coins from the Blue Space she just landed on, now with 14 coins.

It's a 1-vs-3 minigame and it's Sir Pentious versus the other three players. Seems like things are going in his favor...

Turn 9 Mini-Game - Thwomp Pull (video of minigame)

The minigame turns out to be a sledding competition with Thwomps. A man with a husky comes by and tells them what to do in the minigame before heading off. As the players get on the sleds, a countdown starts, and the minigame begins after the count of 3.

• Mr. Blizzards in the track hit both teams of racers once each. Sir Pentious and Yuri got hit with snowballs from their antics due to that.

• In the waning moments of the mini-game, the team of Sorbet Shark Cookie, Yuri, and Bandana Dee win the race, leaving Sir Pentious in the snow.

A Toad in winter clothes walks by and presents the grand prize of... 30 coins in a box. At least he divided the prize evenly between the victors.

Towering Treetop - Turn 10

• It's Bandana Dee's turn. After losing 5 coins to Leech Seed, perpetrated by Sir Pentious, the denizen of Pop Star hits the Dice Block, getting a 6. He swings on the vine with an acorn on its end again and stops on a Miracle Space. A beam of light shines on him and he is sent back to the start area.
  • Eldstar: Welcome to the Miracle Space's Chance Time. Coins and stars will be up at stake in this event. Will luck be in your favor? Starting hitting this block above you to find out.

  • A glowing box appears above Bandana Dee's head. He hits it once and his visage is shown projected to the left of the ethereal display above Eldstar. He hits it again and Sorbet Shark Cookie's face appears to the right of the display.

  • The resulting event is an arrow pointing towards Bandana Dee with a sign reading "30 coins" above it.

  • Eldstar: This just in! Sorbet Shark Cookie has to give Bandana Dee 30 coins!

  • Sorbet Shark Cookie drops in face down, gets up, and watches as the rest of his coins are pulled over towards Bandana Dee as the trade results in Bandana Dee having 68 coins.

  • With Chance Time finished, Bandana Dee and Sorbet Shark Cookie are sent back to their spaces.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. He throws his Bob-omb Orb a space behind him, which is right near the net of the rope he climbed down from last turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets him a 6. On the way to the Blue Space that was his destination, he picks up a Bowlo Orb^note The user turns into a ball that rolls across the board. Players who pass other players who are not moving and are at their destination steal 10 coins from the player they roll over. from the Orb Space just a space and the purple flower away. Landing on the Blue Space gave him 3 coins.

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. He uses his Waddle Dee Orb to get some use out of it. The Waddle Dee that dropped in gave him a Spiny Shell^note Allows the player to target the player in first making them lose 20 coins. If the player who used it is in first place, the person who uses it loses 10 coins instead., which Sir Pentious didn't mind at all. After the Waddle Dee fled, Pentious hits his Dice Block, and ends up with a 3, taking him to a Blue Space down a net of rope he slithered the way down. The number of coins in his pockets is 13.

• It's Yuri's turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets her a 9, sending her towards the end of the Lucky Space area, while getting 18 coins in the process. The furry beast yawns, gets up, and presents her a free star. Another roar from him makes a magic beanstalk sprout from the ground, taking Yuri back to the Lucky Space she was on earlier.

The next mini-game is 2-vs-2, with the same teams that were made during Turn 5.

Turn 10 Mini-Game - King of the Thrill (video of minigame)

The players arrive at a moonlit series of cylindrical monoliths. Upon the top monolith was an ascetic. He telepathically spoke the instructions of the minigame before levitating off the mountain to watch the battle unfold.

• The first round's left match is Bandana Dee vs Sorbet Shark Cookie. Tussling at each other eventually led to Sorbet Shark Cookie getting the win against Bandana Dee.

• The first round's right match is Yuri vs Sir Pentious. Trading blows eventually led to them falling off the bottom right monolith at the same time.

A Fly Guy comes in and picks up Sir Pentious in the nick of time. The ascetic comes back and drops 10 coins for each of the two winners. Meanwhile, 2 more Fly Guys had already picked up the losing team before they could be swallowed completely by the theoretical abyss.

Towering Treetop - Turn 11

• It's Bandana Dee's turn. 5 coins are leached from his inventory and are transferred over to Sir Pentious. Hitting his Dice Block nets Bandana Dee a 10.
  • Just after a Blue Space is the Star Space. Bandana Dee has already decided to take his third star for 20 coins. With Bandana Dee's bought third star, the Star Space returns to overwrite the Blue Space near the Venusaur event.

  • Bandana Dee walks past Sir Pentious who was eyeing him. Taking the slide, he stops on a Blue Space, now with a total of 46 coins.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. Using his Bowlo Orb, he transforms into a ball version of himself. He rolls a 2, just exactly enough to roll over Sir Pentious, taking 10 coins away from him. He stops at that exact spot where Sir Pentious is at and gets 3 coins. Sorbet Shark Cookie now has 26 coins.

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. Knowing the unfair advantage that Sir Pentious assumed of from Bandana Dee's performance, he uses the Spiny Shell, watching it move along spaces and go down the slide. It crashes into Bandana Dee and causes an explosion, taking away 20 of the poor fellow's coins. As the explosion wanes out, Sir Pentious hits the Dice Block, as a 1 comes out. He moves towards the Blue Space directly next to him and Sorbet Cookie and gets 3 coins, sending his coin total up to 21.

• It's Yuri's turn. She throws her Koopa Bank Orb onto the nearest Bob-omb Orb space Sorbet Shark Cookie created, overwriting it. She hits her Dice Block and gets a 9. She moves towards the shop in order to buy something from Calista.
  • Calista: Perhaps you would be interested in these wares?

  • The shop items included: Bob-omb Orb (10 Coins), Chain Chomp Orb (20 Coins), Golden Mushroom (15 Coins)

  • Yuri purchases a Golden Mushroom^note Allows the player to roll three dice blocks instead of one when used. She now has 27 coins left.

  • Calista: Thank you for your patronage. Come back when you have the chance to meet me again.

  • As Yuri leaves the shop, she immediately triggers the Koopa Bank space that her orb made this turn.

  • A Koopa Troopa on a flying platform appears right in front of her.

  • Koopa Troopa: Welcome to this branch of the Koopa Bank. I'm sorry to say, but I'm requiring you to deposit 5 coins in the bank.

  • Yuri deposits the 5 coins as her coin count falls down to 22.

  • Koopa Troopa: The Koopa Bank now has 5 coins in their reserves. Thank you for visiting.

  • After the Koopa Troopa left, she took the bridge that could lead her to the Star Space. On the way, she obtains a Bowlo Orb^note The user turns into a ball that rolls across the board. Players who pass other players who are not moving and are at their destination steal 10 coins from the player they roll over. from the Orb Space in her path, and lands on the Blue Space next to the Star Space, just missing the mark. She now has 25 coins.

Everybody landed on Blue Spaces this turn, so Eldstar's preparing a 4-player minigame for them.

Turn 11 Mini-Game - Freeze Frame (video of minigame)

The players are taken to a scenic high fantasy town. Waiting for them happened to be pink-haired ninja and journalist Shinobu Sarutobi, who requested them to take some scenic pictures for a travel guide. It happened to be a conversation that also taught them how to play the minigame. The four players are tasked to go to four nearly identical parts of the place with tripod cameras.

The shot must contain as many humans as possible, with the added caveat of elves being worth bonus points.

• Bandana Dee captures a picture with 4 humans, scoring 4 points.

• Sorbet Shark Cookie captures a picture with 2 humans and an elf, scoring 5 points.

• Sir Pentious captures a picture with 3 humans, scoring 3 points.

• Yuri captures a picture with only 1 human, scoring a single point.

With Sorbet Shark Cookie the winner with the most populated picture, Shinobu gives the little cookie 10 coins before bidding the players farewell as portals pull the four partygoers back to the Towering Treetop.

[Sorbet Shark Cookie looks at the Star Space from a distance, concerned. He knows Yuri's going to get the star as soon as she moves, and that'll put him in 3rd place. Maybe if there was a way to get rid of her coins, so that she couldn't afford it...]

• It's Bandana Dee's turn. Leech Seed wears off as he loses 5 more coins to Sir Pentious. Bandana Dee hits the Dice Block and gets another 10. After getting a Duel Orb^note Initiates a duel as if the player landed on a Duel Space. from the Orb Space that he passed by, Bandana Dee ends up landing on his own Spiny Orb space, getting 10 coins. 31 coins are now his property.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. He hits the Dice Block, getting a 4. Going down the slide again, he picks up a Piranha Plant Orb^note The space it lands on takes half of the coins from the player who lands on the space and gives it to the player who created the space. at the Orb Space, before landing on an Event Space.
  • Giant Tree: Hey, can you please tickle my nose with this feather? My nose feels itchy...

  • Out came a big sneeze, which sent Sir Pentious tumbling down to the Blue Space at the end of the slide. Yuri ends up landing on an Event Space directly above the beehive. Good thing she didn't hit the beehive on the way down.

  • Giant Tree: Glad to have that sneeze out of my system. Thank you!

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. He uses his Metal Mushroom Orb, encasing himself inside a metallic skin. He gets a Chain Chomp Orb^note Summons a Chain Chomp who allows you to steal coins for free or a Star for 50 coins from a single target. It can target any player who does not have a Bone Orb in their inventory. from the Orb Space he passed on his way to his destination, and subsequently ends up landing on a Blue Space. Since he didn't trigger any traps, the Metal Mushroom Orb served no purpose for him on this turn.

• It's Yuri's turn. Using her Golden Mushroom immediately to try to catch up to the Star Space again, she rolls an 8, a 7, and another 8, resulting in her being able to move 23 spaces. She passes by two Orb Spaces and the dreaded pink flower before coming to a stop at a Red Space, which was near the Shop. In her mad dash, she received a Chain Chomp Orb^note Summons a Chain Chomp who allows you to steal coins for free or a Star for 50 coins from a single target. It can target any player who does not have a Bone Orb in their inventory. and a Tweester Orb^note Calls in a living tornado to move the Star Space to somewhere else on the board., before being set back to 22 coins.

It's a 1-vs-3 minigame, where Yuri is pitted against the rest of the players. A great match for coins is about to begin.

Turn 12 Mini-Game - Coin Block Bash (video of minigame)

The players are placed in a fence where Brick Blocks hover above them. A Hammer Bro outside the fence makes Yuri catch a giant hammer as soon as he prattles to the four about what the mini-game is all about. A whistle blow from another Hammer Bro next to the one that gave Yuri the hammer signifies the start of the game.

• Yuri gets 6 coins in total with her hammer.

• The other players got 6 coins in total. The Hammer Bros. required them to split it up evenly, so each player gets 2 coins.

Hammer Bro. #1: You can keep those coins, you're gonna need to use them eventually. See ya later, chumps!

The Hammer Bros. raise their hammers in salute as the players warp back to the board.

[Sorbet Shark Cookie is somewhat relieved that Yuri isn't as close to the Star space as before. Still, he knows the chances of him getting to it before her are slim to none. Maybe if his reach was far enough so that he could put that Podoboo near her, he could force her to bypass it completely... Maybe not...]

Towering Treetop - Turn 13

• It's Bandana Dee's turn. He throws his Klepto Orb onto Yuri's Piranha Plant space, overwriting it. Next, he hits the Dice Block, getting a 4. He uses the pink flower to move toward a Blue Space as Bandana Dee picks up a Mushroom Orb^note Allows the player to roll two dice blocks instead of one when used. from the Orb Space just next to it. Bandana Dee now has 36 coins in hand.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. He throws a Piranha Plant Orb five spaces away from him, landing next to the Klepto Orb space Bandana Dee created just a moment ago. He hits the Dice Block and gets a 6, landing on a Red Space, sending his coin count down to 35.

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. He hits the Dice Block, netting a 10. He sneaks his way up to a Red Space with the help of the pink flower, shrinking his coin count to 28.

• It's Yuri's turn. She hits the Dice Block, getting a 6. Skipping past the shop due to her full inventory, she immediately triggers the Koopa Bank Orb she placed two turns ago as another Koopa Troopa on a flying platform appears right in front of her.
  • Koopa Troopa: Welcome to this branch of the Koopa Bank. I'm sorry to say, but I'm requiring you to deposit 5 coins in the bank.

  • Yuri deposits the 5 coins as her coin count falls down to 23.

  • Koopa Troopa: The Koopa Bank now has 10 coins in their reserves. Thank you for visiting.

  • After the Koopa Troopa leaves, she passes by the bridge yet again and gets a Flutter Orb on the way across it, which she kept in exchange for tossing away the Tweester Orb. She lands on the Red Space just at the end of the bridge, losing 3 coins.

The 1-vs-3 mini-game for the turn has Bandana Dee the lone opposition to the other three players. Let's see what's up next for them.

Turn 13 Mini-Game - Plush Crush (video of minigame)

Bandana Dee is taken to an arcade in Japan. Behind him and a few arcade cabinets is a witch who sneaks behind him and shrinks the Waddling Head, tossing him into the crane game. The three other players have just arrived there. All three notice the crane machine and rushes to check it out. The game is three players, however somebody vandalized the instructions of the crane game to read something different: the instructions of the mini-game that they will play in question, crushing any living thing inside the machine. As Yuri shrugs in confusion, Sorbet Shark Cookie scans a card he picked up from someone else who just met them at the arcade and the three start playing the crane machine and therefore the mini-game.

• Sorbet Shark Cookie successfully crushes Bandana Dee with a UMP9 plush he happened to pick up and let go of immediately after Sorbet Shark's crane nudged a few centimeters.

A manager comes and notices the vandalized crane machine and attempts to fix it. The crane game spewed out 30 coins and Bandana Dee, who was spat out in his original size. The manager apologized for the inconvenience but asked them to share the coins evenly with the three players who won the mini-game that they were supposed to be in the arcade for.

Towering Treetop - Turn 14

• It's Bandana Dee's turn. He uses the Mushroom Orb he just got the previous turn to to roll two Dice Blocks. He gets a 3 and a 2, resulting in a sum of 5 moves. He climbs the net of rope and passes by the shop. Bandana Dee decides to check it out.
  • Calista: Perhaps you would be interested in these wares?

  • The shop items included: Sparky Sticker (15 Coins), Mushroom (5 Coins), Cellular Shopper (10 Coins)

  • Bandana Dee purchased a Cellular Shopper^note Allows the player to contact the shop from any space during their turn and before they roll their dice. since it reminded him of the phone Kirby used in the Mirror World. He now has 26 coins left.

  • Calista: Thank you for stopping by. Come back when you have the chance to meet me again.

  • Immediately after the shop was the Koopa Bank space. He stops there and awaits for the Koopa Troopa to come down.

  • Koopa Troopa: Welcome to this branch of the Koopa Bank. You've managed to stop here, so we'll be giving you the 10 coins in our reserves!

  • As the Koopa Bank's reserves empty out on Bandana Dee, he gets back up to a total of 36 coins.

  • Koopa Troopa: Thank you so much for visiting.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets him a 3. Landing on a Battle Space causes the space to explode on him as Bombette and a quartet of Bob-omb arrive at the board on a hovercraft.
  • Bombette: Looks like it's time for a Battle Mini-Game! I'm your host, Bombette. The way you arrive at these minigames is similar to non-battle mini-games you've played before. I'm going to blow up this box that one of my folks placed here so I know what amount of coins all players are going to wager.

  • She uses Bomb on the wooden box and in the box was a large stone tablet with the number 10 etched onto it.

  • Bombette: It's 10 coins per person. I'm requesting everyone on this board to give us your coins for the prize pool. Sorry, but it's how it works.

  • After the Bob-omb crew took the coins from all four players (one had quite the hassle with Sir Pentious), Bombette was about ready to request Eldstar to take them to the area where the Battle Mini-game will be held.

  • Bombette: All right, that's 40 coins in total. Good luck out there! A Bob-omb referee will be coming with you guys to the mini-game location shortly.

Turn 14 Battle Mini-Game - Stamp By Me (video of minigame)

The players are taken to a stamping factory where numerous robots, androids, and Hammer Bros are working at. A Hammer Bro comes around and asks them to do some work with four vacant stamping jobs, while clarifying the instructions of the mini-game. Given stamping hammers, the four players are put into their positions as the mini-game starts.

• Bandana Dee comes in last, with 8 stamped papers.

• Yuri comes in second, with 10 stamped papers.

• Sorbet Shark Cookie and Sir Pentious both stamped 11 papers each. A tiebreaker was solved so that Sir Pentious is given first place.

As the Bob-omb referee splits up the prize pool (Sir Pentious gets 28 coins, Sorbet Shark Cookie gets 10 coins, and Yuri gets 2 coins), the players and the Bob-omb referee return to the board, where the players are returned fairly to their spaces.

Bombette congratulates the players for a great game, before heading off the board with the hovercraft.

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. With the 56 coins in his pockets, he sports a diabolical grin as he pulls out the Chain Chomp Orb to use. He's obviously going to yoink a star right behind Bandana Dee's back.
  • Chain Chomp: Bark bark bark! <Is a star the thing you want? Feed me the 50 coins first, I'm starving!>

  • Paid the 50 coins (Sir Pentious now has 6 coins), the Chain Chomp takes three great leaps toward the space that Bandana Dee is on, crushing him like a pancake as it grabs one of his stars and puts it in its mouth.

  • Chain Chomp: Pant pant pant pant pant... awooooooooo! <Here's a star, stolen just for you. That was exhilarating!>

  • Now with 2 stars and 6 coins, Sir Pentious shoots himself up to second place while Bandana Dee is knocked down a notch to two stars. Sir Pentious then hits the Dice Block for a 4, passing by a Orb Space, which gives him a Lakitu Orb^note Allows the player to target any of their opponents to steal a random item in their inventory. , and lands on a Blue Space, now having a total of 9 coins under his belt.

• It's Yuri's turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets her a 4, stopping at the Star Space on the way to her destination.
  • Eldstar: You've finally made it here! Want a star for 20 coins?

  • Saying yes, she takes the star in exchange for the 20 coin fee, putting her in third place with 2 stars and 2 coins. The Star Space ends up moving back to the Blue Space next to the Fluff Airlines Event Space.

  • Her destination ends up being a Duel Space, which came after an embarrassed launch from the purple flower. As the space shone in a luminescent, violet light, Eldstar teleports directly to Yuri again, noticing the pillar of light coming from the Duel Space.

  • Eldstar: You've landed on a Duel Space. Please select the player who will be your opponent.

  • Yuri picks Sir Pentious, wanting to teach the cretin his place.

  • Eldstar: Very well. I'm ready to send you and your opponent to another place for a duel where coins and stars are on the line. The people there will tell you what to do. Good luck.

Turn 14 Duel Mini-Game - Rotation Station (video of minigame)

The players find themselves in an area in the skies containing a tower which has two separate sections inside it. Knuckles the Echidna and the Master Emerald were displaced to here and told them about the tower; tasking them with the mini-game instructions.

Knuckles: There's something at the top of the tower. I don't know what it is, but it's probably going to do something special! You gotta go in there for me, I've gotta keep watch of the Master Emerald.

• Yuri ends up climbing to the top of the tower first on her end of it, and notices a portal leading back to the start area of Towering Treetop. When she came back, she told Eldstar of her win in the mini-game.

Sir Pentious arrives late to the board as Eldstar summoned a magic orb that told of what spoils of battle Yuri takes from the malevolent villain. The picture the orb showed ends up being a single star. As Yuri earns a star from Sir Pentious, she is now with 3 stars and 2 coins. Now in first place, Sir Pentious gets his just desserts as the taker of fourth place.

The 2-vs-2 mini-game in which Bandana Dee and Yuri are matched against Sir Pentious and Sorbet Shark Cookie for the third time was just about to start.

Turn 14 Mini-Game - Destruction Duet (video of minigame)

The players are taken to a castle room with two statues depicting the Great Demon King of the Koopas.

Waluigi notices them and tells them about the Bowser statues standing menacingly. In doing so he managed to lay out the rules of the minigame.

Waluigi: I detest that stupid turtle Bowser! Go vandalize his statues so he knows what it's like to reject the great Waluigi!

He then skimpers out of the room to watch the statues start collapsing under pressure.

• The Bowser statue on the right was the first to break, spilling out 20 coins that went straight to Sir Pentious and Sorbet Shark Cookie's pockets.

Waluigi: Eh, I don't care about those coins that statue leaked. Wario's got enough. I've gotta go do some tennis matches for charity. Smell you later, losers!

   Malevolent Moment begins!   

Behind the giant tree is a Wizzrobe and Lady Eboshi, planning to do something nefarious.

Lady Eboshi: You're one of Ganon's henchmen, right? Do you have the power to petrify that tree at the top of the board?

Nodding, the Wizzrobe flies up high to the top of the board and casts a petrifying spell on Woody as he starts frowning under the pressure.

Lady Eboshi: Perfect. That'll keep them busy and out of potluck.

• It's Bandana Dee's turn. He takes out his Cellular Shopper and dials the number to Calista's shop.
  • Calista: Why not get one of these wares while you're on the line?

  • The shop items included: Tweester Orb (10 Coins), Boomerang Flower (10 Coins), Magic Lamp (30 Coins)

  • Bandana Dee purchases a Boomerang Flower^note Allows the player to throw a boomerang which comes back holding a random orb which replaces this item. Cannot be used if no Orb Spaces are on the board., as his coin count goes down to 16.

  • Calista: Thank you for calling. Come to the shop sometime later.

  • Bandana Dee hits the Dice Block and gets a 7. Climbing up to the platform with the turned to stone Woody, he gets a Super Mushroom Orb^note Allows the player to roll three dice blocks instead of one when used. by going past an Orb Space. Discarding the Boomerang Orb to keep the Super Mushroom Orb, he lands onto a Blue Space, now with a coin count of 19.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets him a 10. Passing by the Capsule Machine and stopping at the Star Space, he buys his second star for 20 coins. As Sorbet Shark Cookie's coin count is reduced to 35, the Star Space moves towards a new spot: the Blue Space that Bandana Dee happened to stand on, resulting in him not being able to buy the star before circling around the board again.
  • Sorbet Shark Cookie lands on a Red Space, sending him back to 32 coins.

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. He gets a 3 from the Dice Block. Ignoring the shop, he is halted by the Koopa Troopa that represents the Koopa Bank.
  • Koopa Troopa: Welcome to this branch of the Koopa Bank. I have to demand you to deposit 5 coins in the bank.

  • Sir Pentious grudgingly deposits the 5 coins, sending his coin count down to 14.

  • Koopa Troopa: The Koopa Bank now has 5 coins in their reserves. Thank you for visiting.

  • Sir Pentious moves past the Koopa Bank space and lands on a Blue Space, getting back 3 coins.

• It's Yuri's turn. She decided to hit her Dice Block and got an 8. Upon reaching an Orb Space, a purple orb floats above her head.
  • Eldstar: Yikes! It's a Death Orb^note Causes a Evil Space to appear somewhere random on the board and removes itself from the player's inventory.! It's probably going to use itself right now. We'll have to see where it goes.

  • The Death Orb throws itself onto a Red Space between a Duel Space and another Orb Space, creating a space with the red skull and crossbones on it.

  • Yuri shivered as she witnessed what just happened. Using up the rest of her moves, she lands right onto a Blue Space and now has 5 coins.

A 1-vs-3 mini-game where Sorbet Shark Cookie is fighting the other three players is about to begin. After this mini-game is the Last Five Turns event.

Turn 15 Mini-Game - Mario Mechs (video of minigame)

The players are sent to a virtual reality lab. A Koopa Troopa scientist tells them about the mini-game that is emulated inside. After the four players get into the room, Sorbet Shark Cookie hops into a large elephant mech as the other three players control dragon mechs. The visual system lights up and turns on, signifying the game has started.

• While Sorbet Shark Cookie managed to blow up Bandana Dee's mech, the combined effort of Yuri and Sir Pentious finishes off Sorbet Shark Cookie and his mech before he could destroy the rest of the opposing team.

As the players leave the virtual reality room, a Sniper Joe comes in and gives the three winners of the minigame ten coins each before walking past the Koopa Troopa scientist and the four players.

I kinda made a huge mistake with a Orb Space. It was a Bob-omb Orb Space. Let's treat that Bob-omb as a dud, okay?

Towering Treetop - Turn 16

It's the Last Five Turns event. Just as Woody is saved from the petrification curse, Eldstar gives out the standings of the players in the precedent of the homestretch.

Eldstar: Yuri is first, Sorbet Shark Cookie is second, Bandana Dee is third, and—

He lets out a deep sigh.

Eldstar: And Sir Pentious is fourth.

As a portal drops a dizzy Sir Pentious onto the starting area, Eldstar asks him to hit a block that will project the resulting change for the last 5 turns of the game.

He hits the block. Eldstar noticed the picture the block is showing and was pretty shocked to see it, to say the least.

Eldstar: This is troublesome. All Red Spaces are replaced by something more sinister. Better roll your dice blocks carefully this time around!

Sir Pentious returns to his space with a smug look on his face.

• It's Bandana Dee's turn. He cracks open his Duel Orb as a blue pillar of light shone through it.
  • Eldstar came over to them in a jiffy and asked them for a player to fight. Bandana Dee is in it to win it, so he challenges Yuri to a duel.

  • With the preparation for the Duel Mini-Game complete, Eldstar prepares to send the two players to a different place to play the mini-game.

Turn 16 Duel Mini-Game - Bowser Bop (video of minigame)

The two partygoers land in a dormitory housed in a large building situated in a less than prosperous world. A Tactical Doll named RFB notices them and tells them about the minigame and its instructions. Since the mini-game was called Bowser Bop back when it was first played, the mini-game would be taken in a different direction this time.

RFB: Instead of those silly turtle heads, you'll be bonking some Sangvis Ferri heads. Vespid heads are worth one, while Dreamer heads are worth two! There's some mallets on the ground, why not pick them up so I can start the game?

• Bandana Dee managed to score 27 points in the mini-game, narrowingly beating out Yuri's 25.

As RFB confirms Bandana Dee's win, the two duelers are pulled back to the board just before a loud knock could be heard in the room she occupied the room shortly with them.

• After the two players came back, Eldstar summoned a magic orb that told of what spoils of battle Bandana Dee gets from Yuri. The picture the orb showed ends up on a coin with a 10 on it. Since Yuri loses 10 of her coins to Bandana Dee, she now only has 5 coins while Bandana Dee has 39.
  • Bandana Dee hits the Dice Block. The Dice Block reads 5. As he goes down the slide and grabs a second Chain Chomp Orb^note  Summons a Chain Chomp who allows you to steal coins for free or a Star for 50 coins from a single target. It can target any player who does not have a Bone Orb in their inventory. from an Orb Space, he lands on the dreaded black space with the skull. Visibly nervous, a blizzard of camellia petals sucked Bandana Dee in. Bandana Dee wakes up on a scorched patch of ground, where Lady Eboshi was waiting.

  • Lady Eboshi: Greetings, little one. Welcome to the Evil Space. I must cast some kind of misfortune on you. What shall it be?

  • Lady Eboshi comes up with a brilliant idea.

  • Lady Eboshi: Heh, how about I take one of your little stars from you?

  • As a posse of ironworkers nail Bandana Dee with a pickaxe, a star figuratively bleeds out from the Pop Star hero as the iron lady snatches it in the air.

  • Lady Eboshi: Oh, this is splendid. You are dismissed. It's been a pleasure having you here.

  • Bandana Dee is sent back to the Evil Space still feeling dazed from that pickaxe nail.

• It's Sorbet Shark Cookie's turn. Hitting the Dice Block nets him a 6. He passes by three Event Spaces before going down the slide, stopping on the Blue Space just at the end of it, now sporting a total of 38 coins.

• It's Sir Pentious's turn. He hits the Dice Block and gets himself a 7. As he takes the path that leads to the Star Space, he gets his long-awaited second star after dropping the 20 coins for Eldstar to hesitantly pick up for the purchase. The space he lands on is a Blue Space, taking his coin count up to 10. As Sir Pentious bought a star, the Star Space moves to a new location: right next to the Lucky Space.

• It's Yuri's turn. She uses the Bowlo Orb, turning herself into a ball. As she hits the Dice Block to move, she manages to roll a 4, enough to hit two players in her path. After rolling down the slide, she hits Sorbet Shark Cookie, snatching up 10 of his coins.
  • She passes by an Orb Space before getting the hit on Bandana Dee, now with a Bone Orb^note Prevents the player who holds this item from being targeted by any Chain Chomp when it comes at them. Using this orb on its own without Chain Chomp interactions deletes the item.

  • As she stops at a Blue Space, she reverts back to her human form. Yuri now has 28 coins.

The mini-game is a 1-vs-3 with Bandana Dee at the helm of the lone player team.

Turn 16 Mini-Game - Spotlight Swim (video of minigame)

Bandana Dee falls into a sewer, where he notices a series of spotlights in his general direction. The three players arrive at the sewer as well. A Blooper tells them to use the three spotlights to catch Bandana Dee in the murky waters, signifying the game's instructions.

• After about ten seconds of Bandana Dee relentlessly swimming away from the lights, Yuri's spotlight manages to surprise Bandana Dee.

The Blooper picks up Bandana Dee from the water; later it gives each of the three winners of the mini-game 10 coins. Bandana Dee has water dripping all over his body, looking as he was about to sneeze or shiver.
