Uh, the pacing is not bad if you read it all in one go (and neither is Dragon Ball's pacing, incidentally). The problem is we only got a few pages each week. If you would transform it in an average manga tankobon, it would make only about 5 volumes. Three, if you take out the specials.
Unfortunately, we get to that point where you've binged it, and you keep waiting. Not fun at all.
That being said, I really hope that this is another trick. Screw generic evil Vegeta with a cape.
Well, yeah, that's what I was saying, wasn't I? Maybe I'll just forget about this webcomic again and come back in a year or so.
Also, yeah, I'm placing a bet that things won't go Vegeta's way.
The main problem with the pace is the author;s need to create specials for ever single special, including the ones where its obvious what happened. The bardock finale was a just a dick slap in the face.
Opportunity for a cool-ass Femgeta: denied.
One thing that irks me: Word of God says the Super Namekian is in the tournament to revive his brethren with the Dragon Balls. But the Namekians are absorbed inside him. So he can't revive them.
Also, why would Vegeta want to wait thrity seconds for a disqualification when he could just kill her (and did...after she changed him)?

He could wish to have them all separated from him instead. Or maybe he just wants to create a new one. A new patriarch to repopulate his race.
Probably because he didn't consider her worth killing, at that point. Once she proved a threat, she pissed him off enough for him to decide to do it.
....Then why the fuck did we have this fight in the first place?
I am wondering the same thing. No, before that, why the hell we have these girls in the first place? They have been completely irrelevant so far. They are not even funny!
I really hope they are being set up to do... something. It don't even need to be anything big, as long it is plot relevant in any way.
Speaking on them, their apparent leader (the blond girl) is still yet to fight. However, there is only two fights left, and we know Super Namek and King Piccolo(?) are (probably) next. Who else still to fight? I can't think at any 'obviously major' character myself.
It is almost as if this is a tournament comic that wants to show lots of different fights!
That doesn't actually develop in plot. The only swerves we've had at this point is, what, Bardock's vision?
Well, the whole 'Buu tried to absorb Broly' seemed to be an actual plot. Or at least development. Most fights had either some development, or at least functioned as an introduction to the characters in question. Heck, even a good gag would have been enough.
This fight, on the other end, was completely devoid of any sort of meaning. And that bugs me.
Urgh... I forgot all about this comic, and coming back into it I'm having a slight issue placing everyone.
Good thing it moves at a snail's pace.
Our favorite set of characters, they're universe 18, right?
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yep. Check the characters page.
There's a character page? I was looking for one, but couldn't find it.

We have a character page on Tv Tropes, (although not a true character page, mostly it describes the background of each universe, lists the characters from that universe, the fights they were in, and the results) that you can find here.
Also, on the DBM site at the bottom of the news page, there's a bracket with all the fights that have happened so far. Next to it is a wheel that, if you click on it, will let you select any universe and get an extremely brief description of the universe and a list of the fighters and spectators who are at the tournament.

It is a popular fan theory that Cell, since he is part Sayajin, should have zenkai, so maybe he is going to pound the ever loving shit out of Cell Jr.

Cell: Worst father ever, or worst father ever?

Ok, that was just genius.
And by that, I mean Cell.
Even King Cold is a better dad. KING FUCKING COLD!!!
One Strip! One Strip! Also, apparently there is no rule for being a cheating asshole in the tournament. You're lucky, Cell.
I'm pretty damm sure that the Namek will simply swat Junior away like the fly he is.
Unless, of course, the magician is using another trick on Vegeta.
