I wouldn't be so sure; there is a cleanup thread for these lines. I'll try to find it for you.

You can see that there is not complete agreement for whether these running gags are okay, but we did remove them from the Sonic the Hedgehog pages, and the last word in the topic is "okay if it doesn't spread to more pages". You could post there if you want to ask about adding more.
I've always enjoyed the "the one where/with" lines at the beginning of pages for Rocky, James Bond and Star Trek films, as well as Doctor Who episode recaps. I'd like to add some examples to TNG recaps, can I just dive right in and do it? Or do I need to get clearance from mods, or request permission in a Trope Workshop first?
