Main Characters / Hestia Familia

    Sora
The savior of countless worlds from another universe.
  • All-Loving Hero: Just like in the Kingdom Hearts canon and in contrast to common local adventurer attitudes he is this in this story going out of his way to help and save people he just met even if it comes at the cost of his efforts to keep a low profile. This extends to feeling sorry for the monsters caged by the Ganesha Familia and hoping that one day it'll be possible for a Ganesha Familia member to bond with them like he and his friends.
  • Cool Big Bro: He takes up this role for Bell, seeing him as someone that can grow to become a hero with some prompting.
  • Elemental Powers: Has notably access to a variety of spells of different elements.
  • Experienced Protagonist: After saving his universe at least three times from multiple threats, he proves to be more than capable of dealing with the dangers of the Dungeon.
    • His level of combat experience is such that he easily eclipses most Orario adventurers.
  • Outside-Context Problem: Due to all the abilities and magics he has learned during his adventures, he stands as this to the rest of Orario.
  • The Power of Friendship: His Link to All skill will make his allies grow stronger, faster, depending on the strength of his bond with them, and will also allow him to trigger special attacks.
  • The Watson: Ends up as this when someone has to explain him something about Orario.

    Bell Cranel
An inexperienced adventurer who seeks to become a true hero.
  • Adaptational Badass: Thanks to Sora's training and materials, Bell becomes a better fighter.
  • Big Brother Worship: He sees Sora as his role model and attempts to learn everything he can from him.
  • Cannot Tell a Lie: He's a very bad liar.
  • Light Is Good: His first spell, Firebolt, is infused with the Light element, making it particularly useful against Heartless.
  • Love at First Sight: He falls for Aiz Wallenstein the moment he sets his eyes on her.
  • Meta Power: His Liaris Freese skill makes him grow much faster than normal based on his determination to improve.
  • Summon Magic: With Sora's help he gained the ability to summon a Me Me Bunny through Sora's Dream Heartbinder.

    Hestia
Goddess of the Home. A goddess new to managing a Familia. A goddess who barely knows how to manage a Familia but willing to do what is necessary for someone she considers one of her members.
  • Adaptational Wealth: Thanks to the synthesis materials provided by Sora and Sora doing a deep dive into the Deeper Floors that gets much more money than was needed for Lili to leave the Soma Familia the costs of the Hestia Knife were significantly reduced and the Hestia Familia has enough money to buy a new home.
  • Only Sane Man: Between Sora's Chronic Hero Syndrome and Bell's Hero Worship of him, Hestia has to work overtime to make sure neither of her charges does something they really can't afford to do.
  • Secret-Keeper: She's the only one that knows the true extent of Bell's Liaris Freese and Sora's Link to All skills.

    Liliruca Arde
A Pallum girl from the Soma Familia who meets Bell and Sora and offers to work as a Supporter for them. She eventually leaves the Soma Familia and becomes part of the Hestia Familia.

Other Familias

Hephastois Familia

    Hephastois
Goddess of the Forge, considered one of the best blacksmiths among mortals and gods, friend and ally of Hestia.
  • Adaptation Name Change: Downplayed, but the story calls her Hephastois instead of Hephaestus due to the light novel translation the author read.
  • The Blacksmith: She's THE blacksmith, capable of creating the best weapons in Orario.
  • The Worf Effect: To demonstrate how advanced the Gummiship is, Hephastois's attempt to recreate it leaves her completely perplexed, since she barely understands the fundamentals thanks to her divine mastery over the creation of magical items, even believing that the only way to recreate it is if she uses her Arcanum on the mortal plane.

    Tsubaki Collbrande
The Level 5 Captain of Hephastois Familia, she's also a blacksmith that becomes interested in Sora - or, rather, the rare materials he has.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: She is envious of Welf because she is at a party with Sora, since she believes that a blacksmith with less experience than her managed to obtain exclusive access to materials from an adventurer who has a skill that allows him to easily obtain rare materials that allow creation of powerful magic items though she is aware of him not wanting to forge magic swords.
  • Ultimate Blacksmith: The best mortal smith in the largest guild dedicated to smithing in Orario.
    • She is the best Orario has to offer and her ultimate goal is to surpass the skills of the gods themselves but she is completely taken aback when Sora completely rejects her services as his personal blacksmith, since he already possesses weapons, items and equipment with capabilities beyond anything she has created.

    Welf Crozzo
A member of Hephastois Familia, descendant of a family known for crafting the best magic swords but who chose to make an oath never to craft one.
  • The Blacksmith: He is an expert blacksmith, capable of crafting high quality weapons and armor.
  • Irony: In spite of his natural gift for making magic weapons, he swore an oath he never would make one. He ends up in a party with Sora, who has access to materials that can make exceptionally powerful magic weapons.

Loki Familia

    Loki
The Trickster Goddess, known for her enmity with Hestia and her Familia, which is the second most powerful one in Orario.
  • A-Cup Angst: She can't handle being flat-chested. This is the source of most of the enmity and cat-fights between her and the big-breasted Hestia.
  • Eyes Always Shut: Loki almost always squints, with very rare occasions she fully opens her eyes.
  • Everyone Has Standards: During the Denatus, she could have brought up Sora in order to pressure Hestia to reveal how a supposed Level 1 adventurer is strong enough to overpower a Level 5 adventurer, but she's not so petty as to throw Hestia to the wolves (plus, she's hoping to recruit Sora into her Familia, which she won't be able to do if every other God is hounding Sora).
    Aiz Wallenstein
The Sword Princess, a member of Loki Familia and one of Orario's most powerful adventurers.
  • The Ace: She's a Level 5 Adventurer and a very good fighter. Then she leveled up to 6.
  • Boxing Lessons for Superman: As Sora explains after a practice match against Ais, she is used to fighting monsters and not adventurers, which makes her vulnerable against opponents who are more Combat Pragmatist than her, so he suggests for her to spar against other members of her Familia.
    • Using an increased gravity spell, Ais is put on the same level as Bell so she can train on equal terms.
  • Lightning Bruiser: Her agility is so high that she can move quickly through the battlefield and deliver deadly slashes before the enemy knows she's there.

    Bete Loga
A Level 5 Adventurer from Loki Familia, Bete is a werewolf with little patience for anyone he considers a "weakling".

    Riveria Ljos Alf
The Level 6 Adventurer that co-leads Loki Familia.
  • The Archmage: One of Orario's most famous and powerful mages.
  • The Worf Effect: Despite being one of the most powerful magic users in Orario, she is baffled by Sora's powerful chantless spells.
    • It also applies to Sora who considers Donald to be the most powerful magic user he knows.

Ganesha Familia

    Ganesha
The God of Masses, Ganesha is pretty much in charge of Orario's law enforcement.
  • Character Catchphrase: Everytime he refers to himself, he will say "I, Ganesha".
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: When he learns about the Heartless from Sora, he gives it due importance and has his Captain Shakti investigate an issue that could be caused by them. When it turns out to be as bad as he feared, he begins to plan how to deal with any Heartless that make it into the city.

    Shakti Varma
Ganesha Familia's Captain.
  • Adaptational Badass: Sora's influence and help causes her to level up to Level 6.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: While she initially suspects Sora is hiding a lot of things, she acknowledges that he's an honest person that she can trust.

Freya Familia

    Freya
The Goddess of Love.

    Ottar
A boaz that happens to be Freya Familia's Captain and Orario's strongest Adventurer: he has Level 7, a number few people have achieved in Orario's history.

Other

    Miach
A God of Healing, skilled in creating healing potions and other medicines.

    Fels
Ouranos' most loyal ally, his main provider of information about what is happening in Orario and the dungeon.
  • Black Cloak: Fels' standard form of attire.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Fels is first seen in a dark cloak which masks his identity. However, as he's allied with the Guild, he's one of the good guys.

    Ouranos
Leader of the Adventurers Guild who ensures the safety of the mortal world. The first god to descend to Gekai and offer blessings, his prayers are responsible for keeping the Dungeon in check.
  • Big Good: He leads the Guild, which is responsible for keeping order in Orario. However, there is an agreement that the Guild must not become another Familia, and thus Ouranos doesn't seem to have much power. In his own words, he rules, but he does not govern.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: His main priority is to seek the well-being of Orario and he will do what is necessary to ensure the safety of everyone.
    • When he learns the true nature of both the Heartless and Sora, his opinion towards Hestia is that they must do what is necessary so that the World Order of Orario is not compromised.

    Hermes
God of Travel and Messengers.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: On the surface he can come off as a Butt-Monkey, but he's secretly one of the most cunning chessmasters in the series, having a hand in driving many of the plots.
  • Extreme Doormat: To many gods he is a coward with no backbone. However, given he's a Wild Card, this might be an act.
  • Handsome Lech: He's a total pervert. Most of the women he meets are exasperated by him and his flirting.
  • Walkingthe Earth: He's not in Orario often because he travels a lot, as befits the Olympians' Divine Messenger
