This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.
NOTE: Edited with OP's permission.

My understanding was that as long as what was added, isn't on the YMMV or isn't subjective and is actually in the text, anyone could add it.
However, if the author is editing the YMMV, that is concerning.
At the very least a notifier is necessary, but until we know for certain we need a lock, I don't see a reason for it.
Doing the sandbox swaps. What should happen to the crowner currently attached to the quotes thread? For the Spoilers Off edit, probably best to first run it through the caption thread. Regarding Peter and Company, we are discussing this internally.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanLet's give the crowner a bit more time.

Due to the PSN integration controversy attracting some knee-jerk reactions, YMMV.Helldivers II and Trivia.Helldivers II might need to be locked for a while until the issue dies down.
Characters.Highly Visible Landmark was cut for being spammers' misuse of the Characters/ namespace a la the PRLC'd page Characters.Everythings Sparkly With Jewelry (which is listed under the Other/Unsorted folder).
Am I that troper? Maybe, maybe not, the world may never know. The video game Ethnic Cleansing is made of white nationalist, anti-Jew, anti-Black sentiment, wholly unwelcome on a website like TV Tropes. Let it be culled and put in the Permanent Red Link Club.
Check out my Pantheon Search Database prototype!Discussion about a work's content, however controversial, doesn't belong here. And works that promote bigotry aren't outlawed for that alone. Please see Pages Attracting Edits That Promote Bigotry and this thread.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I figured that this was the appropriate place to discuss these matters, for the PRLC page said to post here to request a work to be stricken. Additionally, Snoot Game was similarly banned for its pervasive anti-queer themes, and Ethnic Cleansing isn't too dissimilar in intent.

Check out my Pantheon Search Database prototype!Snoot Game wasn't banned for it's themes, it was banned because it was causing way too much controversy and attracting negative attention.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessSony apparently walked back the account linking thing, so there shouldn't be a need to lock anything related to Helldivers II for the time being.
Doing the Complete Monster things, turning down all other lock requests as they seem to be premature.

Please unlock The World's Breast Tropes. It feels like a double standard with the unlocked Phallic Index.

The original wording of Swords to Plowshares, in many Bible translations including the King James Version, was "swords into plowshares" (ie, "they shall beat their swords into plowshares").
Can that be added as a redirect?
You mean something like Swords Into Plowshares?
I'm lovin' it. (My Troper Wall)That's what I was thinking. "Swords Into Plowshares" is the wording that instinctively comes to mind for me.
Done to here, save for the unlock as "double standard" is not a valid unlock reason.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanRedirect looks good, thanks :)
As for The World's Breast Tropes, an index of valid fanservice tropes doesn't have any problems with The Content Policy.
Other than that, please remove all examples of She Panned It Now She Sucks from YMMV.Lily Orchard. The trope is now Flame Bait.

This is the wrong place to have it unlocked. I made a CV thread on your behalf - that's where you should have taken this issue.

I'm lovin' it. (My Troper Wall)Please cut the She Panned It Now She Sucks examples on YMMV.Lily Orchard (which is currently locked) because on-page examples aren't allowed anymore due to it now being Flame Bait. Plus, one of the examples is listed as an aversion and to my knowledge YMMV tropes can't be averted.
Due to the recent controversy, I think both Drake and Kendrick Lamar and all their subpages need to locked.

^^ I think a lock is definitely needed at this point. The author has just made mass edits without indicating he had any sort of permission from admin, especially on the YMMV, and he has atleast violated three to four parts of The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours.
