Weird dreams

I dreamed about a work that didn't exist. From what I can remember, it was a miniseries — an animated medical drama with an animesque art style and a near-future setting. The major premise quirks were about how magitek had become a source of renewable energy easily applicable to a healthcare context, and that the world was populated by humans who could shape-shift into an animal at will. There was a starling and a pangolin, I think, as well as a polar bear who only got a little bit of screen time, but enough to make him an Ensemble Dark Horse.

Then things got weird.

It turned out that a few members of the hospital staff had inadvertently been transporting themselves to a parallel universe version of the same hospital. This involved excessive magitek use in high-intensity, life-or-death situations. While their patients had high recovery rates following said use, the staff almost always disappeared from the prime universe without a trace. And then, in this new, subtly different universe, they were quick to discover that they weren't the only ones...

At some point last night I dreamed that my grandpa had to have an emergency surgery that went well, but he had to stay at home for a while, so my mom and I stayed there with him while the doctor who was there to help out was...Steve Martin. Apparently, in the dream, he and my grandpa were old friends and he was glad to help my grandpa out. He was also apparently a massive fan of Scooby-Doo and watched it with us when I turned the TV to a channel showing it.

"Hey, gimme a minute to get to know everyone, 'kay, Brainy?" "Of course, but please allow me to get a word in, too, bzz."

I dreamt there was a trope called "Yank Mystery", basically some form of Bait-and-Switch or red herring with regards to a mystery, snowcloned after Yank the Dog's Chain. And its image came from Les Tuniques Bleues. So... nonsensical trope title, but a clever Visual Pun from my dreaming mind.

Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.

I dreamt there was a Futurama episode that had a Running Gag of Hermes complaining his lips were dry. No, I don't know how that was meant to be funny either.

I had a dream that involved driving to the hospital with one of my mom's friends, who was apparently getting a checkup. While on the way there, I randomly noticed an orangutan woman walking down the street — odd, because there were no other anthropomorphic animals for the rest of that dream, and it was never brought up again.

I was then in the waiting room of the hospital looking for something to do. My mom came in, and asked "I saw a transformer hanging off the power line, are you okay?" (There really was a power outage last night — presumably due to an electrical transformer going out, since I heard an explosion beforehand. However, it's been fixed by now, and I don't think anyone was injured.)

Then I was having dinner with my family and friends, and suddenly I was on vacation with my dad. We were going to see my stepbrother — he was in some kind of production (possibly music-related), and we were supposed to meet him backstage. My dad was bringing him some food, including cotton candy. Then some guy came up to me demanding to see my diploma, much to my confusion. Since I didn't have it with me, we looked it up on a computer instead, and then we got sidetracked and started looking for random stuff.

Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.

I dreamed a movie about an actor that was against having his movies be remade so all of the effcits characters (You know like rubber suits, Stop Motchon and stuff) from his various movies Into life intent on whacking him. Among them was an Antro dinosaur cop . Anger management issues, a guy made out of five decks of cards (Is five decks of cards enught for a guy) And their leaders seem to be a small Cyclops that was stop motion animated

I dreamed about a theory video on The Amazing Digital Circus, where the theorist brings up a villain(?) group that doesn't actually exist in the series called the "Chanty Gang." One character (who didn't exist either) called them the "Shanty Gang" instead, he replayed the footage of that several times, and said this was proof that they used to be pirates. Then this was somehow pivotal in the theorist's theory on Jax.

I don't get it either. Now that I'm awake, it's possible that the "pirate" connection could be made with video game piracy, but I'm not so sure my unconscious mind had that plan.

I was at a convenience store, and the shopkeeper was Alan but with a heavy Russian accent. He kept pouring containers of liquid (like juice, cooking oil, etc) onto the floor and he kept demanding people buy things they didn't want to (e.g. a giant chocolate Easter bunny, a Dagwood Sandwich, and a slushie that didn't have enough slush.)

Among the customers at the convenience store were a grumpy old woman in a mobility scooter, demanding a refund for a roast turkey that she claimed was mouldy (I don't know if it was or not), a man who kept swabbing things for samples, and a girl who looked about eight but kept saying oddly introspective things for a kid.

I was in my old school, but it was set up like a college campus and I didn't know a single student there. I was anxious and didn't speak to anyone because I'm shy around people I don't know. And at one point they were watching Frozen II.

I wish I remember more of my dream, it seemed interesting. Most of my memories are fragmented.

I remember it involved being some kinda agent skydiving out of a plane. People from my work also both worked at a pizza place I kept visiting, where at one point I was there either hiring a bunch of random people or at least filling out their applications. I also vaguely remember stuff about someone's house, like leaving my phone there.

My dream last night had two parts.

First, I was watching a Looney Tunes-esque cartoon about a group of cats who teamed up to catch and eat several mice. When the other cats weren't looking, this one really fat cat grabbed most of the mice (maybe in a sack?) and ran away, planning to eat them on his own. The other cats found out that he stole their mice and started chasing him. I forget how it ended.

In the second part, Bluethorn and I were in a swamp somewhere. We were trying to find some treasure that was supposedly buried in the swamp. The dream somehow involved alligators. I think they were chasing us, and Bluethorn was trying to help keep me from panicking.

Oh thank god someone posted, I didn't want to doublepost my dream from yesterday! (Also, fun dreams Puma, lol)

I was at work, though the layout was different, which always happens. Everything was dark and some aisles had no electricity. It was borderline post-apocalyptic. But never fear; for I had eaten something that supposedly made me sick, and one of the symptoms was glowing in the dark.

It was actually sick.

Last night I dreamed that I was watching an episode of The Simpsons. I can't tell if it was from an old season or a new one since I haven't watched the series in ages. Bart, Millhouse and other kids were playing with a ball in what seemed to be a forested county during sunset, until one of them hits it so hard that it lands into the inside of what seems to be a power plant at the west. Bart, Millhouse and Nelson agree to approach the plant to retrieve the ball, and Millhouse touches what seems to be a doorbell close to the closed metalic entrance gate... and then another gate closes right behind them. It seems like they're trapped, but the gate in front of them opens, and they slowly enter.

As they take a look at the outdoors front yard, they see the ball they were playing with and grab it, but the gate that closed behind them didn't open, so the three boys approach the building's entrance door to see if they can ask someone to open the gate so they can leave. They come in and an adult employee cheerfully greets them, telling them that the company was waiting for them to finally do a vacation tour through the plant. Millhouse secretly tells Bart that they're likely being mistaken for other people. The episode then shows three kids (one of them being Ralph) in an expo room attending a very boring biology presentation, and one of the kids wondered when it was going to end so they could go to the power plant for their scheduled tour... Uh oh...

Back to the power plant, Bart, Millhouse and Nelson were following the man across the tour, seeing all sorts of cool things. But right when they were approaching to what seemed to be an aquarium, the animals in it had their eyes glow red and shatter the glasses to break free. And upon getting out, they began to swim in the air and attack the other employees. The man tells the three boys to look for some hideout while he tries to distract the animals. The boys had no idea where to go, so they just moved forward and hoped the best. They finally exit to the backyard where a taxi driver was offering them a ride back home. Bart told them they had no money, but the driver told them that the transport was paid as part of the tour, so the three boys hopped into the taxi and urged the man to drive quickly.

The next part of the dream showed the three boys boarding a school bus heading back to Springfield. I think the taxi took them to a terminal or something and then they hopped onto the bus. Nelson and Millhouse were relieved to be alive, but Bart couldn't stop thinking of all the stuff that happened and was visibly affected.

Everybody knows Absolutenutcase 162, right? well i had a dream that involved Agrat Bat namah (Forhor her name), Ironhide, and a camera.

Judging from the only text she said ("I told you it was going to leave you in a wheelchaid Ironhide") it has to do with her Filming a Stunt gone wrong

also, they used a Empty warehouse as Background, and used the Specific Scene of Dark of The moon.

I dreamt there was this man, and he invented a party game that involved him dancing to this song that was like a mishmash of "Mr. Plow" and "Jump in the Line" and occasionally saying the phrase, "Shake away" upon which we'd cut his hair while he was still dancing. I remember that made me go into I Don't Think That's Such a Good Idea mode. His voice also fluctuated between a Mid-Atlantic accent and a heavy Indian accent.

Welcome to Ideal's World

I just recently had a dream that I was in a weird Asian action movie. The movie a robot girl, baby turtles, a middle-aged Clint Eastwood as a detective, water, speed boats, regular boats and terrorists. I am not sure what the 'plot' was but it was weird and cool.

I had a dream about being in a hotel with some other people. Most of it was several long, random scenes usually just involving me going up and down the elevator. The elevator looked more like the one at my local mall, for whatever reason.

Later, there was a part where I watched a show that had a Cutaway Gag where it was in a comic book style, and was silent aside from some text on the screen. I think it was meant to be a kids' show, but the joke was that they were saying things that could easily be misread as swear words, such as "son of a birch", using "flick" in contexts where it could be used in place of "fuck", etc — they lampshaded it at one point by saying "This'd look really inappropriate if we knew each other" (???). One part of the gag was they were saying "motion picture soundtracks" in a way that made it suggest they meant something like "motherfucking soundtracks". Gonna be honest, this sounds like it'd be pretty funny.

The dream also had a part involving a magical road that could take you anywhere in the world. For some reason, the road was built in such a way that you had to drive through a temple at one point; I immediately freaked out and started urging the driver not to hit anyone/anything in the temple (though the people in the temple didn't even seem to notice/care that we were there; maybe we weren't really in there, akin to a Pensieve Flashback scene?).

Last night I had a dream that I was in a Game Grumps video. I was playing some online game and somehow wound up on the same server with them.

I forget what game it was, but it was something like VR Chat: Just a casual game where you could take different forms and make each other laugh, except it wasn't in VR.

There was some sort of time skip in the dream, and after that, I was watching the video they made. I left a comment thanking them for playing with me.

I was kind of disappointed when I woke up and realized it was just a dream.

I went to a wrestling event that wasn't actually a wrestling event at all; the wrestlers were instead taking part in a menagerie of random sports at different venues. We were seated outside on the beach watching John Cena and some Irish guy I didn't recognise competing in a penalty shootout (Cena was losing). Also, my mother was sitting next to me for some reason. Don't know what she was doing there.

To my right was some guy who, upon looking to his left and noticing that one of the people doing the "Cena sucks!" part of that chant was a woman (even though I'm alright with him irl. He seems like a nice guy), looked at me and tutted, "Oh great, now the women are here." I looked him in the eye and replied, "Excuse me? I've always been here." And I guess that was enough to shut him up.

I have very little memory of the other parts of the dream, but I was in the hallways of a different, indoor venue for another event that was never specified. I passed by a lot of famous people. The weirdest part? The two that stuck out were members of British pop groups from my childhood — specifically Mutya from Sugababes and Danny from McFly. I woke up before I found out what event we were all going to see next.
