The Shield

  • Middle Child Syndrome: Despite they are not actual brothers, Ambrose fits the criteria, being six months younger than Reigns and six months older than Rollins. Following the disbandment of the Shield, the creative team clearly favors Reigns and Rollins, ensuring they will always be given high-profile matches, receive world title opportunities, and even have their WrestleMania moments. In contrast, Ambrose, despite being the most popular member of the group post-split, is consistently relegated to the midcard and is considered fortunate if he manages to win a feud. The creative team only seems to take notice of Ambrose when it involves the other two members.

One Piece: Straw Hat Pirates

Going Merry

  • Rule of Symbolism: The loss of the Going Merry signifies the end of an era for the Straw Hat crew. In a sense, it marks the end of their more happy-go-lucky and carefree days. The ship served as a symbol of their earlier, more innocent times together. Its demise represents a turning point in their journey towards a more challenging and complex future. With its passing, the Straw Hats' childhood phrase also fades away into memory.

Thousand Sunny

  • Apology Gift: Franky states that since the Adam Wood needed to build it is brought using the money he stole from the Straw Hats, the Thousand Sunny ship is already theirs the moment it built. There are implications that it is also his way of apologizing for all the trouble he caused the crew.
  • Rule of Symbolism: The Sunny ship serves as a representation of the Straw Hat crew's evolution into a globally recognized group of pirates who possess the skills to help their captain become the ultimate Pirate King.

Seven Deadly Sins

  • Each boss of the Video Game/ShadowFight2 represents a certain sin:
Pride: Lynx, who's overconfident in his abilities and views others beneath him. Sloth: Hermit, who has achieved his power using magic, not actual combat. Wrath: Butcher, whose teachings are full of violence and bloodshed. Envy: Wasp, who killed her own father to take over his criminal empire. Lust: Widow, who's wants to rule all men after the Prince broke her heart. Greed: Shogun, who took over Ivory City and turned it into an even bigger dystopia than it was under the Prince. Gluttony: Titan, who has conquered countless planets and brainwashed their strongest warriors to be his mindless servants.

Thank you

@ The Holdovers

  • When a student randomly says that maybe Paul is late for class due to messing with the food in the cafeteria, one of the other kids takes that comment way more seriously than he has a right to.

@ The Holdovers

  • Ensemble Dark Horse: Yee-Jeon, Alex, and Jason are all Put on a Bus early in the film, but they add a lot of color and heart that most fans love to the movie.

@ The Punisher MAX

  • Sal Buvoli, a Knight Templar Big Brother childhood acquaintance of Frank and partial inspiration for his later deeds, is quite popular despite only appearing in one origin-story special issue.

@ The Holdovers

  • When Jason talks about how his father flew in in a helicopter with some Christmas presents, the younger Alex excitedly compares it to Santa and his sleigh, which makes it all the nicer when he and the others (besides Angus, who they still say a fond goodbye to) get permission to fly in the chopper for a proper winter vacation after Jason and his father get over their little feud.
  • Despite Hunham's past disgrace, one of his old Harvard classmates he runs into is happy to see him and to hear that he is supposedly still doing well in academia.

@ Big Fish in a Bigger Ocean

  • Ex-Heroes: The Unbreakables are super-strong Super Soldiers who form an impressive military unit, but once they go from nearly fighting actual superheroes to working alongside them, they are mostly reduced to glorified sentries and The Cavalry.
  • The Harry Turtledove story "The Road Not Taken" features this in two ways: humanity has just mastered the ability to send crewed ships across the solar system (over a period of years) when an alien invasion fleet takes the same journey in a matter of days. Once the aliens land, it turns out they only have black powder weapons, which are obsolete next to a 21st-century Earth arsenal.
  • Jeremiah: Wasteland Warlord Theo starts out as the leader of an organized, gun-totting gang that preserved some valuable infrastructure, runs a mid-sized town with a thriving marketplace, and has techies building an electric generator. After her Heel–Face Turn, she is more of The Friend Nobody Likes at Thunder Mountain than a respected shot-caller (at least until she proves herself under new circumstances) due to how her new ally has running water, scores of military weapons, a lot more manpower, and more potential allies in dozens of groups from across the country who have done things like build fish farms and hydroelectric generators, have a Ye Olde Nuclear Silo nearby, or have got cars working again.

Viler New Villain

  • Fairy Tail:
    • Each guild of the Balam Alliance proves to be worse than the previous one. First, we have Oracion Seis, who are a bunch of Tragic Villains (save for their leader), and whose plan is to simply overthrow the light guilds. Then, we have Grimoire Heart, that wants to wipe out 90% of the world population in the name of magical utopia. Lastly, we have Tartaros, whose members are demons, who want to Kill All Humans as a bonus to their main objective (kill their creator, who designed them to kill himself) out of bigoted superiorty.
  • My Hero Academia: Each movie villain is worse than the previous one. Two Heroes has Wolfram, who's a standard greedy terrorist, but then Heroes Rising gives us Nine, a more powerful and threatening villain, whose plan is to built a world of strong, and World Heroes Mission has Humarise - a cult of BoomerangBigots with intention to wipe out 80% of the world population.

Trolls Band Together

  • Excellent Judge of Character: Ronda can tell who is a good or bad person as she took a liking to Poppy and growled at Velvet and Veneer.
  • Half-Truth: John Dory tells Floyd half the truth of his stress during their show preparation for their concert.
  • Will Not Tell a Lie: Despite his flaws, John Dory is usually honest and doesn't lie to anyone, even to his own brothers.

Ridonculous Race None Down Eighteen To Go Part 1

  • Everyone Has Standards: Despite being an oddball himself, even Owen finds Leonard highly delusional.
  • Skewed Priorities: The Fashion Bloggers refuse to wear the helmets for the Scare challenge because Tom is worried about messing up his hair and Jen doesn't like the color. They eventually give in and wear the helmets after disinfecting them.

==============================

Ridonculous Race None Down Eighteen To Go Part 2

  • Continuity Nod: The LARPers' elimination in this episode is very similar to Leonard's elimination in I Love You Grease Pig:
    • Once again, Leonard is eliminated in the second episode he participated.
    • Like before, Leonard loses when he attempted to rely on magic, causing him to fall behind.
    • After getting eliminated, Tammy tries to use a time reversal spell, much as Leonard did.
  • Skewed Priorities: Sanders decides to drink the stew slowly, taking small sips and pausing to wipe her mouth after each sip, which results in a significant waste of time. Frustrated by this, MacArthur forcefully shoves the entire contents of the bowl into her mouth.

One Piece: Monkey D. Luffy

  • Enemies Equals Greatness: Luffy's determination and resilience are admirable traits that enable him to keep fighting no matter how insurmountable the odds may seem. In addition to this, his charismatic leadership is highlighted by his ability to turn foes into friends and inspire loyalty among his comrades. Luffy's unconventional approach and battle adaptability demonstrate his creativity and strategic thinking skills. Furthermore, his protective nature towards his friends and his actions against injustice reflects his strong sense of loyalty and justice. It's no wonder that Luffy has accumulated many powerful enemies and formed alliances against him, demonstrating his impact on the world.

One Piece: Land of Wano Saga

  • To sum up, Luffy was a newcomer pirate who originated from the weakest sea in the world. Despite this disadvantage, he managed to amass a bounty worth 3 billion beli, declared a war against the World Government, and triumphed over several elite privateers. Furthermore, he accomplished the incredible feat of becoming one of the Four Emperors by defeating one of them. What makes him stand out is the fact that he achieved all of this in less than three years from the time he started his piracy after undergoing rigorous training for 2 years. It's not surprising that his accomplishments made him a prime target for the World Government.

Digimon Tamers

Jeri

  • Missing Mom: When Jeri was still young, she lost her biological mother to an illness. This tragic event left her with a deep emotional wound that only grew worse due to the hurtful words of her grieving father, who told her that it was her fate. Although Jeri is blessed to have a caring and kind-hearted stepmother, she finds it difficult to form a strong emotional bond with her. Despite harboring no negative feelings towards her stepmother, the weight of Jeri's emotional burden makes it challenging for her to establish a close connection.

Banned in China

  • The 2017 episode segment of Doraemon, "Elephant and Uncle" (ぞうとおじさん), wasn't aired in the country due to the plot invloving Doraemon and Nobita goes into a zoo in Imperial Japan, and the presence of Imperial Japanese soldiers in the episode segment.

Missing Episode

  • The 2017 episode of Doraemon, "I am Mini Doraemon" (ぼくミニドラえもん) and "Elephant and Uncle" (ぞうとおじさん), wasn't aired in Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan, despite the latter segment's earlier 2007 adaptation already aired in these countries before. South Korea did air the former segment, but the latter segment was also skipped but for some understandable reasons, as the segment involves Doraemon and Nobita goes into a zoo in Imperial Japan, and the presence of the Imperial Japanese soldiers in the segment.

^ By putting "that most fans love" after "to the movie", you were saying that that it was the movie that most fans love, not "a lot of color and heart" (which is what you meant).

^ To avoid confusing the reader, you should put sentence elements as close as possible to the other sentence elements they're related to.
