Emily's VA has posted a page of her script to let us know S2 is in production. Unfortunately, she didn't blur the script, and some people on Reddit were able to decipher the text. It's a spoiler, but we don't know when this page supposedly takes place. Just fair warning.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit. On a similar note to Weird Al as Lucifer, I also remember Viv saying she pictured Mark Hamill as Vox. Unlike Lucifer, Christian Borle’s performance as Vox didn’t feel Hamill-esque at all. If anything, he gave me more Bruce Campbell vibes.
I don’t think Viv confirmed this anywhere, but I’ve also seen a bit of speculation that she originally wanted Jack Black as Adam, which would be interesting given that Alex Brightman played Black’s character in the School of Rock stage adaptation.
Leakers try to let anybody have any fun through anticipation challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)
Seriously, though, why is there never a situation where content for unreleased media is accidentally released and the internet collectively takes the high road and says "Nah, we don't want anything spoiled, we'll wait for the actual release"?

It's not about the gold; it's about the glory.Do you know how many people are on the internet? A collective act of goodwill like that would be a miracle.
The First manThe actual answer is the cast majority of people see the spoilers and just think it’s cool info and want to share it with other people who want to see it. Because I’m the end sharing spoilers isn’t an immoral thing.
Hamill would have been a great fit (seriously, he can sing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0wJNl320eQ), but it's hard to imagine anyone other than Borle in the role, who perfectly captured the mix of likeable, sinister, hateable and pathetic that make up Vox.
On a related note, here are some of Vivzie's original headcanons for some of the demons:
It's a fun coincidence that Donald Craig's performance of 'You're never fully dressed without a smile' (from Annie) inspired aspects of Alastor and was the headcanon for his voice, and then fast forward to 2024 and the person who plays him in the show had also performed that song in Annie (here's Amir Talai singing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BveEANV5CtA). Actually, that might have been what brought Talai to Vivzie's attention.
It also fun how both Michael Kovach and Blake Roman sound a fair bit like the headcanon voice. Actually, they both sound like a mix between the headcanon voice and Steve Buscemi (whose voice was used to for Angel in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra56UWuJaq0), though each to different degrees.

That video also had Andrea Libman as Niffty and Justin Roiland as Husk. Not sure if the latter would've worked given his recent controversy, but the former is Hilarious in Hindsight given that Niffty's VA in the show voiced another My Little Pony character.
It looks like Radio from The Brave Little Toaster was also an inspiration for Alastor's voice, which is funny because he was also the inspiration for Howdy Pillar's voice in Welcome Home (Clown Illustrations), and a lot of people have noted similarities between Howdy's voice and Alastor's.
And what's one of the first lines of Stayed Gone (it even came up when I searched 'Welcome Home' on Youtube)? It's all connected!

Actually, I uh…haven’t gotten around to watching the first episode yet.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Have you watched the Pilot and Addict (both on youtube)? You can enjoy the show without them, but I think watching them before it (Pilot first, then Addict) adds a lot to both the characters and the story. There is some early instalment weirdness, but Pilot (with Vivizie has confirmed is canon bar the character designs and a few details) to Addict to Series is surprisingly smooth.

Not yet. There aren't any jokes about people with autism or any mental disabilities in them, are there?

If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.@ king 15: That's why I think the Vees are going to use more manipulative tactics like, say, endearing themselves to Nifty and using her as a propaganda prop. I think Vox might have some power to disable and/or interfere with some of his powers, like how Alastor can disrupt television, so there's more of a reason why Alastor doesn't just kill him
X7(?) No idea what you're talking about. Angel Dust in the pilot and the show sounds nothing like Billy Flynn doing the Ventriloquist number from Chicago. His voice is higher pitched and is far less "middle-aged man" about it (ironic, as Angel was middle-aged when he died).

It's not about the gold; it's about the glory.I meant more when the headcanon voice is singing (I don't know if that is the same voice as the talking headcanon voice). At the very least, I think it fits into a similar mold that Roman and Korvach's voices for the character fit in.
Edit: Actually, on another viewing, I realise I perhaps overstated the similarity. Still, I think they sound fairly similar. I still stand by Steve Buscemi in the Daddy Issues Animatic sounding similar to both portrayals of the character.

Well, sure, in terms of "fast-talking wiseass Italian guy", but there are a million ways to variate on that archetype. Kovach goes more towards "I'm so cool, look at how cool I am" whereas Roman goes for a more "You talkin' to me!? Who the hell you think you are!?" performance, if that makes any sense at all.
And Steve Buscemi would definitely still fit, though I would say Blake Roman's Angel leans more towards Joe Pesci at times.

It's not about the gold; it's about the glory. Finally, more Hazbin YTPs are starting to roll out. "Angel Dust Converts to Catholicism" is still one of my favorite YouTube videos.

It's not about the gold; it's about the glory.So... I saw the leaked script image. I'm not saying anything out of respect for the creative team, but just know... I had to go to 4chan to find the image.
It was not worth it. It was so not worth it. I need the last hour of my life erased.

Vegeta: I'm back bitches!Oh, you poor soul. Sounds like what you need is to go and wash your mouth/brain out with cute animals or fluff-pieces.
Maybe there’s a short fic of Charlie and Vaggie just hanging out and having a good time somewhere.

My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.Dare I even ask how it got there in the first place, or is it better to leave some things undisturbed?
It's not about the gold; it's about the glory.wooden-ladybug93 I don't remember there being any jokes about mentally disabled people in the pilot or Addict. The closest I can think of is Angel Dust in the pilot comparing a bad situation to kids with a physical disability, but that isn't meant to be making fun of disabilities, it's instead showing how much of an arsehole Angel is. Beyond that, I can't think of any joke aimed at any disabilities.

Someone managed to copy the image of the script that was shown and transcribed what they could read on it.
The horrors came from seeing some of the responses and other threads...
So I have this idea of a gag in season 2 where during a song, one character just refuses to sing and tries to get everyone to get back to having a normal discussion like what they were doing earlier.
That would be very funny. There's already shades of that in 'Inside every Demons is a Rainbow', 'Happy Day in Hell' and 'You didn't know', but a full on gag of that would be very funny.
While It isn’t confirmed, if people randomly breaking into song and dance really is Charlie and Lilith having Reality Warping powers, it would be hillarious to have character end up away anought from both of them that it stops and for them to be confused by there being no music, or something like that.
That would be fun to see. Would fit as well given the hotel now has two uber powerful benefactors (Alastor and Lucifer), so would likely deal with more powerful enemies. Since the Vees wouldn't have a chance in hell of beating Lucifer alone, they will probably become quite underhanded, resulting in political intrigue.
