Tropes you didn't know existed until recently

Just found out about Sandbox.Common Troping Mistakes the other day. Kinda wish I knew about it when I was new to the site - I made some errors described on that page then.

Not with Them for the Money.

Literal Money Metaphor. I swear, I've seen it before, I just didn't realize we had a trope for it.

I constantly find new tropes because I search for them for Trope Report. This time I discovered Caffeine Failure.

I didn't know Plot Archaeology was a thing until a couple of days ago.

The Wicked Stage (because it's a Forgotten Trope).

Thread of Prophecy, Severed

I like both its dramatic grammar (or "drammar", if you will) and the fact that it's more intelligible than Winds of Destiny, Change! is.

Sommelier Speak. I see it used as a gag every now and then, might look if there's stuff I could add/crossreference across the wiki.

Clue, Evidence, and a Smoking Gun.

Real Men Have Short Hair. Aware of the concept but not the fact that it was a trope here

Sympathetic Sentient Weapon. Much less omnipresent of a concept than I thought, though I guess other instances of classified killing machines would go under Gunboat Diplomacy.

Human Outside, Alien Inside

Becoming Part of the Image. I forget how often this happens with pictures of mules lol

Divine Birds. Was aware of the concept, definitely, just didn't know it was a trope.

I just discovered Unconventional Formatting.

Senior Creep. Don't have much to say about it other than my thoughts being "Oh yeah, this is a thing"

Count me as another person who didn’t know about that trope. I thought Screw Politeness, I'm a Senior! was the trope for old people who were jerks. ^_^;;

Not a recent case, but one year and a half ago I dreamed about a trope where a character would change their ways after having had a nightmare that made them realize what they were doing wrong. When I woke up, I thought I had a tropable concept to take to TLP... but upon checking, I discovered we already have Opinion-Changing Dream.

I had a similar dream not too long before that one, but upon waking up I knew from the get-go that we have one because I could recall it instantly (Wrong Turn at Albuquerque).
