Well they already got part of the problem resolved: Dan DiDio being ousted from his position as that one incredibly obnoxious editor who really, really, really hated Wally West being The Flash. Perhaps that course-corrective energy should be applied to their game development division.
Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...How much did Didio hate Wally West?
He hates legacy characters in general or characters he perceived as redundant.
So to that extent he’s pretty obsessed with trying to kill off the likes of Nightwing and Wally or at least drape them in terrible creative directions.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well since this is connected to the Arkham games, I guess it's appropriate to post the teaser for a new Batman Arkham game

Interesting.
Hey, WB, how's that Wonder Woman game coming along?
Game went under a 100 for the first time on steam. Damn its dead. It had a whooping 70....
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Game was Detrimental Determination: The Game. So many signs to stop, so many warnings. But they kept pushing....
-Witty line-I hoenstly dunno if rocksteady can survive this. THIS Being the first thing they put out in close to a decade and to have it fail miserably.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."WB isn't the type to close studios... right?
Wouldn't put it past them. Honestly, didn't all the important people from the Arkham games leave already anyway? What would we be losing?
WB isn't the type to close studios... right?
With having such a famous and iconic line of "That's All, Folks!" in their company, they kind of have to.
-Witty line-I don't think WB can write a tax write off for a studio, so they might be fine.
I don't think they meant as a tax write-off, more of an EA-style "this studio that we heavily mismanaged isn't performing as well as we like so we're shutting it down" deal.
Now that I think about it WB didn't really own game studios until well into the tens right? It's why Harry Potter franchise was an EA game.
That time the Rogues killed Inertia foe tricking then into murdering the Flash.
No phrase better defines them than "Professionals have Standards".
Something to think about but if the Rogues heard about what Boomer did to Barry they would definitely call for his head.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."While the Central City Rogues generally saw Flash as just an obstacle in the way of a payday, Inertia actually hated Bart Allen and wanted him dead. They were never a good fit.
Speaking of Boomerang, it's interesting to note that he's usually depicted as the least likable member of any team he's on. Most people who end up working with him find him annoying at best. The Rogues, the Suicide Squad...not to mention his role in Identity Crisis which shows that the rest of the supervillains think he's a washed up loser.
Now that I think about it, Marvel comics' boomerang throwing supervillain — called, um, Boomerang — is also often depicted as a jackass not even the other supervillains like.

Disgusted, but not surprisedAnd yet he's the most entertaining character in the game.
WB Blames ‘Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’ For Quarterly Miss
Plan doesn't work, doubles effort on said plan.
0 times 2 is still zero.
-Witty line-Maybe if they had released a certain movie...
Maybe if they retooled the game so it wasn't a load of live-service BS…
Honestly asking, would it have been hard to retool this game as something that's not a live-service shooter?
I think at least a couple games that feel like they were supposed to be live services, but that was scrapped. Perhaps the gameplay would be solid, but probably would have a lot of things hanging over it.
Wake me up at your own risk.It wouldn't have been easy. The whole game was built on a rotting foundation. The executives presumably wanted to recoup their costs through the battle pass and microtransactions, so they'd have to have sold a lot more if they wanted to make a profit. Then you have to factor in whether people want even an offline looter shooter. If you want to retool it away from being a shooter, that's all the dev time you took making the core gameplay flushed down the toilet. Then there's the question of whether people even want the core premise of the game, to play the Suicide Squad murdering the Justice League. I think most people's answer to that one is "no". Edgy shooters were big in the mid 2000s, not now.
The whole game should have been taken out back and put down long before now. Like, years ago.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."
DC just needs to go back to the "Good guys fight bad guys (and aren't mopey assholes)" route again.
