Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
The Arena, Season 320
On the sixth night, Kaidan decided to find out the results of the Buttered Pikmin Paradox by tying the hundred Pikmin to slices of buttered toast and throwing them off a ledge, seeing which side lands up. Somehow, all the Pikmin combined collapsed into a black hole, thankfully localised enough not to suck anyone else in.
"Looks like Dr. T'Soni isn't the only one who can make singularities," Kaidan remarked.
Espeon's night was a lot less exciting, simply receiving a huge, dirty wad of gum from Manny. Having no use for it, he promptly threw it out.
The next day, Regina George made some nasty remarks about Espeon, hurting his feelings and making him cry. Chansome told her that she couldn't say things like that, to which she replied it was a bad joke.
In another part of the Arena, Kaidan happened across some delicious-looking bacon jerky and helped himself, not knowing it was marijuana-infused. He spent the rest of the day stoned out of his mind, and completely missed Ludger impaling Orin with a nail, preventing him from making her suffer further.
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.
Space Molly Weasley
The Arena
That night, Rhodonite flings a rock into the sky with a hammer, which also may or may not be her actual Gem weapon. It ends up hitting the Gray Heron and his larger bird mount, and Rhodonite cringes as she sees them fall to their deaths.
Just then, Qilby announces on the Arena speakers about Chansome's (new) girlfriend Tonya. Rhodonite shakes her head in confusion while Goyle shouts, "Great... juuuust great!" It just reminded him of the uncertainty of his own relationship with Espeon, platonic or otherwise.
Suddenly, alt!Photoshop Flowey appears before him and forces him to pick one out of four cards, or else the eldritch flower will take his SOUL. Goyle doesn't bother asking what the cards do and takes the yellow one, which nonfatally zaps them both.
The next day, Rhodonite skips the Feast because she's still hung up over her last kill, while Goyle attends it. He's about to dig into some chocolate cakes when Espeon and Regina force him to watch Chansome tainting some Wizarding World delicacies with the wrong ingredients.
"How DARE you betray me in this timeline, you stupid Crup!" he yells at Espeon before he casts Avada Kedavra on himself.
Later that day, Rhodonite is about to take an escalator when she suddenly makes it move faster. She doesn't know how she did it and wonders if this is one of her innate powers.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
The guards ask Nozomi's family their purpose of travel to the Shelter.
Juan sighs. "Kythring already told you about Kirby's mission to ZDR!"
"Give her a break, she's just a kid!" says 6k1. "But specifically, Kirby, Dedede, Bandana Dee, and Elfilin joined my tributes and a few of the other nominators and theirs in storming Dark Stanford's lair in that planet to rescue Twilight, her friends, and Wanda's parents from him and Raven Beak."
"I believe they're also going to confront those villains for their atrocities, and we hope they'll be able to defeat them and destroy that giant Metroid up in the mountains."
All this time, Ally has been doing a routine check of the other refugees after arranging for 6k1's PFs with Rua. The real Peter Rabbit sent them a letter that while he adjusted well to his Rabbitsune form last season, he isn't okay with staying that way or at least shapeshifting into it anytime because he's afraid of what his family might think of him. Ally understood his decision because she knows that it's not for everyone after all.
Right now, she enters the mini-lab by herself and sees several Pokémon asleep on the floor, and Verdi is about to do something to them with the markers.
What are you doing here? she asks him.
"Anemone dear, I know you want to be more independent from me, but... please take care, okay?"
Kirby
Science Center
"That sounds dangerous..." said Ribbon. "I hope things could work out."
"I wonder if we could help?" ponders Adeleine.
Nozomi says "We're looking for shelter. Can we meet the one in charge?"
The Voidlands, Mushroom Plains
Shadow Kirby and Anna are exploring a large, grassy plain. Numerous mushrooms the size of houses tower the landscape. Voidlands Bugs scurry along on the purple grass, while above, Void Dragonflies, enormous dragonflies the size of an eagle, zoom across the sky.
Shadow Kirby then inspects some bushes. "Ooh, berries.". He then picks some of the berries. Anna joins in too.
"Anna, what do you remember?
"Not much." she said. "But i think i used to live with others who look like me. Grownups! But i kinda got separated from them..."
"Well, now i wonder if we could meet them. Anyway, i was only here for a short time."
Eventually they got enough berries.
"This should fill us up for some time." remarked Shadow Kirby.
The Voidlands, Cliff Face
As the two walk home, they walk near a nearby cliff face. The cliff is covered with various crystals growing on the rocks, all of which are glowing with every color of the rainbow. Mesmerized, Anna stops and admires the crystals. Shadow Kirby took notice.
"Anna, we have to go home!"
"These crystals look pretty!"
The two then notice a large, metal door in the wall. A sign is embedded on the rock above the door, the writing seemingly having been scratched off. Besides the door, a small red button is embedded.
"What is this...?" asked Shadow Kirby.
"I wonder what this does?" Anna the presses the button.
The metal door then opens, revealing a dark corridor. The two look inside in awe.
"Whoa..." said Shadow Kirby.
"Wanna explore?" Anna asks.

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
The Arena, Season 230
On the seventh night, Espeon was struck down by someone "fulfilling their destiny" and lost a life, causing him to turn into a Ghost-type temporarily. Luckily, he was able to find Ophelia (the one who was still alive, that is), and she proved both able and willing to restore him to life before he faded. Meanwhile, Kaidan came down from his bacon-jerky high to discover that he'd somehow gotten a Tōma tramp stamp.
The next day was the Feast, where Espeon and Regina George saw Chansome preparing some traditional wizard food with Muggle ingredients. They brought in Goyle and forced him to watch, driving him to blast himself with his own Killing Curse in horror. Meanwhile, Kaidan, not having learned his lesson about strange foodstuffs in the Arena, ate a red watermelon that caused him to start breathing fire, and accidentally fried Tonya to a crisp.
Later that day, Espeon got hit by one of Flowey's "friendliness pellets", causing him to take some damage. "Oh no," he said without much emotion.
Elsewhere, Kaidan ran across Chansome and realised they hadn't been properly introduced. "Say, I didn't catch your name. What is it?" he asked, and the pelican responded by joking that he was President Snow.
Later that night, Espeon participated in a triathlon with Tōma, Flowey, and Ophelia, but came in last place - it wasn't his season when it came to sports, it seems. Meanwhile, Kaidan asked Chansome for a guarantee that he was in fact President Snow, and Chansome retorted by telling him that if he wanted guarantees, he'd have to buy a toaster.
However, Espeon wasn't taking his triathlon defeat and Flowey's earlier attack lying down. The next day, he grew to gigantic size and slammed both Tōma and Flowey, along with Chansome who happened to be in the way, knocking them into the camera. He decided to spare Ophelia in gratitude for her saving his life, though.
Kaidan, on the other hand, spent the ninth day relaxing, sleeping in a bed with fishes in it. He then made himself a mud mask with cucumber slices and settled down for what approximated a spa night. Meanwhile, Espeon's bills came in, and he discovered that using psychic blasts for just twelve seconds cost him 400,000 PokéCoins.
The tenth day proved the end for Kaidan, for Ophelia attacked him with a baseball bat, knocking his head clean off and sending it flying so fast that it knocked out Rhodonite. Espeon, meanwhile, got a call from his husband back in Orre.
"Hey, Espeon, you know what would be really cool and terrorist-y?" said Umbreon. "Hacking the simulator to put in critically broken events! You know, where tributes die when they're supposed to live and the other way around?"
"Anything for you, Umbie!" said Espeon, and with that he set about making the hacks. Unfortunately, he got caught by the Peacekeepers and promptly banned, ending his time in the Arena.
NTC's Lab
Cassandra Beech's tail wagged eagerly as she looked over the Arena results. "Another one for the wall!" she said cheerily. "Well done, Espeon! And Kaidan made fourth, too! That's incredible!"
Nought grinned. "And both leaving a trail of blood and death along the way," she said. "That was a pleasant surprise."
"See, Majel?" said Nine-Tailed Cat. "Turns out trusting Espeon again was the right choice."
"It would appear so," said Majel. "I will have to adjust my future assessments to compensate."
Cassandra cheerfully printed out a picture of Espeon and put it into a bronze frame. She hung it up alongside a similar picture of the Monk, two pictures of the Survivor - one in a silver frame, the other in a steel one - and another silver frame around the following text:
Times President Snow died this season: 0
Overall number of times Snow died: 170 (181 including his times nominated as a tribute (alt forms included), but not as part of an MGT such as EVERYTHING)
"Looks nice!" said the fennec. "So what's next, boss?"
Nine-Tailed Cat smiled. "Remember those monster hunters I sent you to retrieve? It's their turn now."
He loaded two more samples into cloning chambers and fired them up, producing two fresh clones: One a dashing young man, fit and athletic from years of hunting sea monsters; the other a small girl with a spark of fiery determination in her eyes.
"Excellent," said Nine-Tailed Cat. "A fearless monster hunter, and an equally daring orphan ready to follow in his footsteps. Both prepared to live the greatest lives and die the greatest deaths."
"They seem awfully heroic to me," said Nought, raising an eyebrow. "Dying's probably the most interesting thing they could do."
"You said something similar about last season's nominees, Nought," Majel said. "Remember how that turned out."
Nought chuckled. "Fair point," she said. "All right, I'll give them a chance. Let's get them to the Arena."

Space Molly Weasley
The Arena
That night, Rhodonite sits under a tree and reads the instruction manual on escalator control, but she doesn't understand it, so the next day, she munches on popcorn while watching the remaining Ophelia drown in "indescribable emptiness". Rhodonite loses it just like her and later somehow steals the moon with a hole puncher. She then questions her identity and sanity the next day, distracting her long enough for Ophelia to bat Kaidan's head towards her, poofing her. Rhodonite soon regenerates on the final night, but she snaps at Ophelia and cuts her in half with an axe (which may or may not be her actual Gem weapon). But just when she thinks she's done with her, the Ophelia halves likewise regenerate into two clones of her and gang up on Rhodonite, shattering her for good.
Rhodonite may have had it rough just like in her last season, but at least she can rest easy once she knows that she won't be stuck in a HOF loop by being forced into the next Death Battle as a Mass Murderer.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
"Okay, we'll call her."
One of the guards calls 6k1 about Nozomi.
"Best you can do right now is to send well-wishes to your friends," says Juan.
"And Adeleine," says 6k1, "have you seen P—"
But before she ask her about the Headmare, she gets a call from the guards about Nozomi and tells Adeleine, Ribbon, and the others about her.
While Ally observes Verdi, Rua follows her into the mini-lab to tell her that the season is over. As usual, Ally nominates a Pokéxperiment duo on 6k1's behalf: Wrapper and a male Unfezant, and the former stays behind while the latter uses VR.
"Also, I noticed that Nomi-Nomi was nominated by someone else this coming season, no pun intended," says Rua.
But how can we be certain that this is the same Nomination whom 6001 nominated last Valentine's Day Season? asks Ally.
"You can try calling them, you know."
I am aware, I was being rhetorical. According to 6001's research on Vertumna IV, there are MULTITUDES of alternate versions of it including minor variations, possibly even more than the Underground. She has no knowledge on whether or not 'her' Nomination is dating someone or who they ARE in a romantic relationship with. However, she DOES know that the Garrison repurposed their VR chambers for entertainment after the military was dismantled following the peace treaty signed by the humans and the Gardeners.
"So 'that' Nomi came from the best possible timeline?"
Affirmative, but even that timeline has its own variations. But as for the Nomination this season, it is still worth asking them for clarification so that 6001 will not worry...
Ally looks at Verdi again.
...But at this moment, I have something of slightly higher priority to attend to.

Kirby
The Voidlands, Abandoned Base
Shadow Kirby and Anna enter the dark corridor. Shadow Kirby then sees a lever and flips it. The corridor is then illuminated by bright, neon lights.
"Whoa... I wonder, who built this place?" asked Anna.
"I don't know." said Shadow Kirby. "This must've been made a long time ago! But it does look interesting."
The two then enter deeper into the base, walking through the illuminated corridor.
Eventually, the two arrive at a very large chamber. At the end of the chamber is a massive television monitor, with a control panel and several chairs. The walls are lined with bright blue neon lights. Various machines line the walls, all displaying multicolored lights. A few doors can also be seen on various sides of the walls.
"Gee. Whoever built this must've left a long, long time ago..." remarked Shadow Kirby.
"Ooh, this could be our very own clubhouse!" said Anna.
"Could be!" Shadow Kirby said with a smile.
Shadow Kirby opens one of the doors in the room, and finds a corridor lined with around 6 doors, and another at the end of the hallway. He opens the one at the end, and finds a surprisingly spacious bedroom. A single bed, surprisingly tidy, lays at the center, and several furniture, such as a small table with a lamp, a rug, and another door presumably leading to the bathroom are around the room. Anna checks another, and finds a large, cooled chamber lined with boxes. She opens one, and finds some fresh food; energy bars and frozen-ready meals. "Shadow Kirby! I found some food!"
"That's nice, poyo!"
The two then go back to the central chamber, and open another door, finding a relatively small white chamber with a small cube in the center, docked on a sleek white device. Anna presses a button on top, and the cube hops. A torso emerges from below, which then grows wheels and two arms. The front of the cube opens up to reveal a black screen, which then displays a cute blue smiley face. An antenna grows from the top of the head.
"Greetings." said the automaton.
"A robot, poyo?"
The Science Center
Adeleine and Ribbon are alerted.
"Oh, those must be those travelers i met the other day!"
"Let her in."

Season 320 (Epilogue)
(Chansome, no memories of the season, is sent right back to Gullah Gullah Island.) Hmm...I've got a vague recollection of using bad sardines in something, brbrbll...
(The Chillet is sent back as well...or were they?)
New Pines
(The Chillet suddenly finds themselves in a nice big bed in a place they don't recognize at all. It looks like an inn room.) Huh...?
(They slip off the bed and nervously peer out the window. They see all sorts of different creatures outside, but they don't look like any Pals they've ever seen.)
Where am I...? Did I end up in the wrong place? (They mutter, ducking back into the inn room.)
Shelter
(Verdi squeaks fearfully when Ally comes in and he doesn't immediately answer, just sitting there silently for a moment as Ally pauses to answer Rua.)
N-No hurt Verdi! Verdi just waiting for Bidoof boy to come back! And then for Stella to come back! (He finally says, nervously covering his head with his wings.)
"Hey, gimme a minute to get to know everyone, 'kay, Brainy?" "Of course, but please allow me to get a word in, too, bzz."
"A dandy who also likes crossdressing? Welp, there goes my idea to make ya Wolverine and Kratos cosplays."
Space Molly Weasley
Underground Bunker
Power frowns at Ichi's tributes dying while Moon is still torn over Goyle's death, but they both shake it off and look forward to the next season. Power then just remembers the Wolverine costume Ichi made for her a long time ago.
"You just gave me an idea, Ich! No peeking, Bez!"
Not feeling the need to hide under her Invisibility Cloak, she goes behind the couch instead and gets drawing.
"In the meantime," Star says to Bezier, "do you want me to put makeup on you? If you like dresses, you have to look good in them!"
He frantically shakes his head and blushes in embarrassment.
"Oh puh-leaze! I'm an artist, not a drag queen!"
"But fashion design is another form of art!" says Power, peeking out from behind the couch.
"I know, but I like expressing myself more through visual art!"
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
6k1 tells the guards to open the trapdoor for Nozomi's family, and once they've slid down, she and Juan go over to greet them. Mimi also approaches the kids and notices that Nozomi's a single mother like 6k1 is to her, but she doesn't comment on it yet and instead asks the kids for headpats.
"A... Bidoof boy?" asks Rua.
He is referring to Cricket Green because of his overbite, says Ally.
"But yeah, where have he and Stella gone?" Rua asks Verdi.
And what is the reason for these slumbering Pokémon?
Outside Dark Stanford's Lair
"So what are we waiting for?" says Peridot. "There must be the other 'Warp Pad' here somewhere that'll take us in!"
She searches the lair's perimeter for one.

Norton: Daamn... Blair killed herself! (Is unaware that CAC is trying suicide right now)
(Norton and M-Frame data clone Darun and The Nutty Boy and send them to the Arena)
Norton: Sending TNB to honor the Earth Primer who discovered his home universe who died not long ago.
(Then, Norton and M-Frame contact Darun and TNB, who's an adult now to see if they want to use VR. As Pullum's bodyguard, Darun says a huge yes. As for Nutty, who had No Name Given, he says:)
Nutty: But of course. Most would relive their childhood if they could. Hope everything goes alright!
Kirby
The Voidlands, Abandoned Base
"Greetings. Personal Helper Unit BUD-E, at your service." said the robot.
"There's robots here too? This is unexpected... and neat." remarked Shadow Kirby. "BUD-E, who built you and this place?"
"Affirmative. Searching for necessary data... Inconclusive. Data corrupted."
"Oh, i guess he forgot..."
"Enter name."
"Me? I'm Shadow Kirby, and this is Anna."
"Greetings, admin Shadow Kirby and Anna."
"Hi, BUD-E! said Anna. "So i guess the builder of this base is a mystery. But it's still a cool clubhouse!"
"And it's way roomier than my home."
BUD-E looks around. "Massive amounts of unidentified energy detected."
Suddenly, Shadow Kirby and Anna hears screaming from outside.
"What was that?"
The two rush outside the base while BUD-E looks at them and waves goodbye.
Safety Shelter
Nozomi is disoriented from earlier.
"Whoa, that was unexpected. Anyway..." she gestures to 6k1. You must be in charge, right? Who are you? I'm Nozomi, and this is Keitaro and Ai."
"Hi." said Keitaro.
"Awww!" said Ai as she saw Mimi. She headpats her.

I-I-... (Verdi stammers. Scared that Ally will attack him if he comes clean about what he is doing and what he was about to do, Verdi ends up fibbing:)
They drink funny drink! It make them float up and away while their bodies sleep! Stella ask Verdi to watch them while they away. (Verdi says.) Stella watching with Verdi, but she leave to take bath...
ZDR
Outside
(Luckily, further inspection around the lair shows that another Warp Pad is hidden just on the edge of the corrupted landscape around the Lair.)
That thing's gonna be faster than taking the tunnel, ain't it? (Knox asks, still antsy about getting inside.)
New Pines
(The Chillet, still wildly confused, stumbles out of the inn room they ended up in and tries to leave, heading down the hallway.)
(As they do, they almost run into an Espeon stepping out of his own inn room. The Chillet mistakes him for the Espeon they were in the season with (despite that Espeon not wearing a blue bandanna around his neck like this one is).) Oh, thank goodness, maybe you know where we are!
(The Espeon looks confused.) Um...I'm sorry, have we met? (He asks.) Say, are you a Furret from another region? You look Ice or Dragon, or maybe the other way around to me.
(The Chillet squeaks and moves past the Espeon into the front lobby of the inn.)
(Judith is at the front counter (judging by the noise of laughing children coming from the rooms behind the desk, Cortez is busy with their kids) and Penny and Jenny are in the lounge. The Vaporeon twins look just as confused as the Espeon did.)
Everything alright, dear? (Judy asks. She's a little puzzled since she doesn't remember checking this particular "Pokémon" into her inn, but is polite anyway.)
I-...I-... (The Chillet stammers before leaving through the front entrance.)
Who was that guy? (Jenny wonders out loud.)
I dunno... (Penny says. Then she giggles.) They sure looked cute, though...
Oh, brother... (Jenny rolls her eyes.)
(The Chillet is so confused that they don't even notice the weird sky upon stepping out. A few of the New Pines locals immediately outside the inn do notice the Chillet and give them confused looks, but the Chillet looks so remarkably like another Pokémon anyway that none of them really pay them any mind.)
(The Chillet heads into town, still nervously looking around, and soon ends up moving toward the Painted Pier.)

(Norton asks Blair if she's okay, to which she says yes, no need to worry. Her data cloned was just stressed over breaking a rule and stupidly killed herself over it)
Norton: (Whew)
(Then, Norton calls CAC)

"Good evening, I'm TRP-6001, Database Manager and Head Librarian of the Database Library."
"And I'm her male counterpart Sixto Juan Soñador. Please call me Juan."
"And that's my pet Starble Mimi,—" 6k1 points to her nuzzling the kids, "—and this is Dupe, who clones me for work efficiency." She then gestures to the lemurlike experiment. "There's also my robot assistant Ally, but she's busy with something else at the moment."
But just then, she gets an extremely concerning message from Norton.
"Excuse me, but... can I leave for a moment? Iiiiit's pretty urgent..."
Ally nods at Verdi's claim that the other mons took something that separated their souls from their bodies, given that any of the potion makers she knows likely would've made such for them while they were here. Why they didn't inform her or 6k1 about it first is beyond her, so she considers calling Rana and Mari later about it.
Rua, on the other hand, doubts the other claim about Stella and does an arm-cross at Verdi. Ally then notices the markers near the Noibat, but instead of calling him out for lying, she gently taps Rua's shoulder to shrug it off. The Databot then reluctantly plays along with Verdi.
OK, continue watching over them until further action can be done about their current state, Ally tells him.
"And see if you can make them comfy in the meantime," adds Rua.
Dark Stanford's Lair
Outside
Peridot examines the telepad, which has the same design as the one inside the lair and is set to "INSIDE" like it.
"Alright, let's go!"
She steps on it, and once everyone else joins her, they're all warped into the jet room by the Cat Rookie.
Dark Stanford's Lair
Corrupted Quarters
Veena would feel two large lumps growing from the sides of her watery body and then reshaping themselves into a pair of giant arms.
"Now see if you can try making fists and punching her with those!" says Lapis as she hovers closer to Rarity while trying to stay out of the debuffing field.
Meanwhile, Rarity's bracer gets burned by Scipion's fireball, but it would've turned into ashes if it weren't for the field they're both standing on. Her sand geysers also turn into tall glass spikes after Scipion's flames touched them, and one of them gets broken by the stray rock from Applejack, sending shards flying everywhere. Rarity then moves around and makes smaller sand geysers near Scipion to try tricking him into making more of these spikes, but she moves slower due to her bulk.
Rainbow Dash, on the other hoof, has her bracer zapped by Kaidan's omni-tool. Luckily for him, her hoof jerks just outside the field's boundary, so the omni-tool fully deactivates her bracer. She then faints after a stray piece of glass hits her side, leaving Onox free to take off her bracer.
As for Applejack, Bale destroys her bracer for good with an energy orb. She then slowly opens her eyes only halfway through, but they are now back to normal.
"Ugh... wha' happun...?"
Jet Room
Amethyst just gives Tenn a thumbs-up, and then yanks the bracer off Pinkie. The pink pony falls backward and struggles to get up, and she slowly opens her eyes and yelps at her bleeding hoof.
"G-Gummy...? What did you d-do to me...?"
Amethyst waves her stubby arm in front of her, removing a bit of the fog until she sees that while Pinkie has eyebags, her eyes are no longer staticky.
"I just saved ya, silly!" The purple Gem chuckles.
Pinkie looks at her and the ensuing battle around her, scared and confused. Amethyst then shapeshifts back to normal and carefully lifts her up.
"No time to explain, we gotta take you somewhere safe first!"
Pinkie nods weakly while Amethyst calls out to the others for help.
Meanwhile, Garnet senses one of Les's spears with her Future Vision and quickly sidesteps it, which barely scrapes by her. Rouki then lifts the fog for her, so she takes this chance to try grabbing another spear to fling it back at him, aiming for his bracer.
Discord then fumes at Rouki for undoing his chaos, his ears whistling like a train as steam comes out of them. The draconequus tries snapping his fingers one more time to get back at him, but Nick, Henry, and Shepard all fire at his bracer at once. Discord screams in anguish as his paw gets burned and the fading spreads down his arm. He accidentally knocks Fluttershy away with his tail as he dances around in pain, so he tries reaching out to her with his claw. But just then, his shadow gets pinned by Arthur's Spirit Shackle, and Discord falls to the floor and struggles to pull himself free, while Fluttershy lies unconscious in the corner, leaving her bracer open for anyone nearby to take off.
It's at this moment when the Perizoid enters the room and fires its Vacuum Beam at Discord. He continues screaming as the rest of his body continues to fade.
At the back of the room, Pearl sees the telepad glowing and tells Miss Ball, Tenn, and the Cat Rookie to step aside for the rest of the team.
"Oh, thank the stars you're alright!" says the spear-wielding Gem. She looks at the battle so far and adds, "We're making good progress, but we still need all the help we can get!"
Looniversity Classroom
Flash gets hit by Alex, Tokage, and July's attacks, knocking him to the side. As a Pillar of Old Equestria, he doesn't immediately faint from the blows, but he struggles to get up and take back his shield. His bracer, however, gets badly damaged that it's about to slip off easily.
Meanwhile, Aaron takes out Spike's bracer, and the dragon stops squirming and blinks his now-normal eyes several times.
"Ugh... where am I...?"
But he unwittingly glances at the other heroes breaking the barrier and gasps upon seeing what his sister's about to do to CAC.
"TWILIGHT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Despite his injuries, Spike tries to get off June's arms to help the others break the barrier.
Meanwhile, Steven removes his visor, crumples on the floor, and cries loudly for CAC and then buries his face in his hands.
"Please calm down!" shouts Connie as she rubs Steven's back.
"H-How can I c-calm down l-like this?!" he cries back.
He looks at his tears falling on his VL-stained gloves. Remembering that they resurrected Lars back on Homeworld but turned him pink and nearly immortal, Steven looks at CAC again, but continues crying in place.
Connie gets up and continues hacking through the barrier with her sword.
"Steven, I know we need to stop Twilight, but he needs our help, too!"
He looks up at her, his face all pinkish-red.
"I-I'd hate to have to u-use my tears on him, buuut... y-yeah..."
He decides to go on standby and prepares to rush to CAC the moment he beheads himself.
But all the drama on the other side makes Bismuth metaphorically erupt like a volcano. She grunts and turns her hands back into drills, and then yells as she abandons her post.
"WHY. AREN'T. YOU. LISTENING TO US, CAC?!?!?!"
She charges towards the barrier and pierces through it, and with everyone's combined efforts, it magically explodes but doesn't push anyone back. Bismuth then turns her hands back to normal and starts charging at CAC to try pushing him away from Twilight, but since she's big and bulky, someone else can outspeed her and get to him first.
But Twilight grumbles at CAC's phone ringing, and her horn glows at its brightest.
"So your other 'friends' back home just tried to contact you?! Pathetic... they too don't realize just how much of a lost cause you are... so why won't you just accept my punishment... you COWARD!!!"
She fires her petrification spell point-blank at him, and whoever's able to reach him might end up taking the hit instead if they can't get him out of the way fast enough.
Meanwhile, Mini-Cord 1 just eats some popcorn while watching the chaos and drama unfold, not realizing that he's also starting to fade away.

It is the afternoon in a fairly quiet outdoors plaza, when an older man in a black overcoat walks by. Looking back, he sighs, and turns around to look at a teenager with short, multicolored hair, who was admiring a butterfly. “Must you always trail behind, child? You are testing my patience. If we’re going to be stuck here together, we must work together.” The teenager blinks, and snaps their head back at the older man, grinning nervously. “Sorry Mr. Swain! I’ve never seen a butterfly in real life before, and they look just like the holovids of earth insects and they’re kinda cool and-“ They calm themselves down and run up to Swain. “Yes, you’ve spent you life away from ‘Earth,’ yes?” The teenager nods their head, and Swain continues. “Well, I suppose one does get excited about things never seen, but don’t overexert yourself. Anyways, what do you suppose we do now?” Nomi has drifted off again, before realizing that Swain had asked them a question. “Um… I don’t know. Wanna talk about ourselves and stuff? Like, what’s with the funky wings coming out of your overcoat? They’re kinda cool!” “If you must know, they’re unsubtle. You know, since ravens always follow me around?” True to his word, a raven flies to his shoulder and whispers something in another language before dissolving into black dust. Nomi jumps back a little in shock. “Woah! What was that?!” Swain turns his head to them, amused. “Just one of the many perks of besting a demon of secrets. Something is going on in a laboratory somewhere. Interesting. But enough about me, what about you?” Nomi gave him a little smile, and said, “Well, my real name is Nomination, but you can call me Nomi-Nomi or Nomi, and I like drawing, and watching cartoons, and designing stuff, and reading holonovels, and hanging out with my friend Rex! He’s really cool. Do you have any friends?” Swain frowned a little and responded, “When one’s Grand General, you don’t worry about friends, you worry about conquest. But I am “enemies with benefits” with a certain woman.” They stop walking, before Swain looks in one direction and asks “Would you mind if we headed this way? Maybe we can find something to liven this dreary day.” Nomi smiled brightly. “Don’t be such a downer, but sure! This way to adventure!” After that, they continued walking and talking.
Basically girl Beetlejuice and a big candle, but the skins are better than they sound.

ZDR, Outside Stanford's Lair
Ashley stepped onto the telepad, beckoning to the others. Rivet and Saheeli followed close behind. "Bring those machines too," she said. "We may need them inside."
Stanford's Lair, Looniversity Room
With Flash off-balance, Sabre took the offensive, sweeping his glaive around to try to knock the pegasus's shield away. Tricky, no longer occupied with Spike, darted in with intent to ram Flash from the side, and Sabre took advantage of this distraction to try to break the bracer off completely.
"Thanks, Tricky," he said. "I've had about enough of this."
Stanford's Lair, Corrupted Quarters
Kaidan took a few nicks from the glass shards and grunted, his kinetic barriers doing their best to soften the blow. He then stepped over to the wounded Rainbow Dash and Applejack, doing his best to shield them with his biotics.
"You were under some sort of mind control," he said to Applejack. "We can explain once your friend's dealt with. For now, stay close."
Stanford's Lair, Jet Room
With the teleporter online, the cat rookie turned her attention to the fight. Seeing Fluttershy incapacitated, she used her grappling wire to swing over to take the bracer off. Shepard stayed behind cover and started readying another concussive round, not wanting to risk excess injury to the prisoners.
At this point, Ashley, Rivet, and Saheeli emerged from the teleporter. Saheeli was the first to react, being used to teleporting into unexpected situations. "What did we miss?" she asked, quicksmithing up a thopter from the surrounding debris to help intercept oncoming fire.
The other two then moved into action. Rivet drew her Ricochet, firing a bouncing projectile to slam into Discord repeatedly. Meanwhile, Ashley tossed Shepard a spare thermal clip before firing off her own concussive shot at Les.
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.
Niiue
Dark Stanford's lair
Aaron sighed in relief when Spike got freed, but he quickly also noticed what was going on.
"CAC!!" he called out. Seeing Spike struggling to get free, the Lucario was quick to stand in front of him, blocking the way.
"Spike, don't!! You're injured!" he firmly said.
With Flash being finished off by Sabre and Tricky, Alex and Tokage also focused on the last remaining corrupted pony they had to face.
"HEY MAN!! STOP!!"
"DAMN IT!!" both Tokage and Alex cried out.
Aaron grunted, knowing he didn't have much time. He glared at Spike since Bismuth just left her post.
"Listen. I'll go help your sister. Whatever happens, don't let Oscar and Lucian out until we're cleared!" he ordered.
The last thing he wanted them to see was CAC attempting to kill himself, or worse.
The Rescue Squad all charged toward CAC and Twilight, with Bismuth reaching the former before any of them. But the Lucario was the first to see Twilight charging a spell.
"SHIT!!" Aaron cried out, knowing that Bismuth was in danger. He rushed to stand between her and CAC, and the petrifying beam, but he had just the time to take a deep breath and block it with a Hyper Beam with both of his arms. But now, the Lucario was stuck, his beam colliding with Twilight's.
"AARON!!" Alex cried out.
"Gaaah...!! D-Don't worry about me!!! J-Just get to Twilight!! Bismuth, get CAC away from here, NOW!!" Aaron exclaimed, struggling. Having not mega-evolved he was considerably weaker than Twilight. He wouldn't last long.
"Aaron is right, Alex!! We won't have another chance!!" Tokage said.
"R-Right! Comee on girls!!" Alex answered. Both the Charmeleon and the Grovyle rushed toward Twilight, the former trying to jump on her to restrain her, and the latter using Grass Knot to prevent her from moving as well.
Note:That last section is subjected to change, should someone decide they want their hero turn into stone.
"Later. Just shut up and stay behind." Freyja bluntly said to Applejack.
With Rainbow Dash unconscious, Onox removed her bracer. Now, only Rarity remained.
Sadly for the group, Scipion fell for Rarity's trick, as he kept aiming at her with more fire projectiles, hitting many of the sand geysers as well, turning them into glass, and sending shards everywhere. Clearly, his newfound power was getting over his head, given his mad cackles.
Onox was lucky to have been protected by Kaidan's kinetic barrier. Freyja was not, and she ended up with some shard glasses stuck in her legs before she could retreat.
"Boss!! Hey boss!!" Onox called out.
"That fucking cretin is going to ruin everything... You two!! Stop him!!" Freyja exclaimed at Veena and Lapis.
"Success!!" Nick exclaimed as Fluttershy got knocked out and Pinkie got freed. But he and Nick turned toward James as they heard him yelping as the Inteleon narrowingly dodged one of Les's spears.
"We're not out of that mess yet. Stay focused." Arthur warned.
Just then, the backup team showed up, with the Perizoid entering the room as well.
"Way too much, thanks for asking." Arthur sarcastically said Saheeli.
"O-Oh dear!! Is that really necessary??" James exclaimed, grossed out by the Perizoid shrinking down Discord.
"We don't have a choice... But someone removes his bracer before that thing sucks in him!!" Arthur called out. He then turned toward James.
"So we've got Wanda's father too to take care of."
"Yes! And he does not look very pleased at the moment!" James said.
"Then let's bring him down. Cover the Chozo!!" Nick exclaimed. The Fiery Blue Wings then fired their respective signature attacks at Les, while still avoiding his spears.

(As they sit around the table, Caedia feels a tickle on her nose. Thinking it might be a fly, she wrinkles her snout and waves her hand in front of her face to get the "fly" away.)

(Ball and Tenn step back away from the telepad as Knox and the others warp in.)
(Knox barely wastes any time before leaping off the Warp Pad.) What's goin' on here?! (He shouts, his two swords at the ready.)
Better late than never, hmm, Knox? (Greta remarks.)
(Ben similarly wastes little time after arriving before using the Omnitrix. He ends up rolling his Mawkin form again.) Huh, again?
Welcome to the club! (Wanda says, firing a Super Missile from her suit at Les's shield. Ben follows...uh, suit and fires one as well.)
(Les tries his best to keep the barrier surrounding him up, but the combined efforts of everyone ends up causing the barrier to shatter and cause Les to get hit by everything. He's blasted backward into the wall and shrinks back down into his normal self, unconscious.)
He is no longer fit to fight. (Cleo says, stating the obvious a little. She moves over toward Les and removes his bracer with her psychokinesis.)
That's my mom and dad down. (Wanda says, still anxious about how much of their actions right then were just brainwashing and how much was just them.)
Whoa, HEY!!! (Knox shouts, seeing the Perizoid atomizing Discord. He recklessly runs over and tries to pry the bracer off Discord with one of his swords.)
Knox! Stop! You could get Atomized, too! (Greta shouts.)
Looniversity Room
Wait, Spike-! (June says, barely having time to express relief that Spike is back to normal before he tries to take off. She scoops the little dragon back up) Spike, y-you're hurt! We'll get Twi back t' normal, okay? We don't want ya t' get hurt any more than we already have...
(Upon seeing Aaron move to block Twilight's beam, and ending up stuck, June gets worried for a moment that Aaron might end up getting hit by the beam, especially with how he hasn't been able to Mega Evolve.)
Right behind ya, guys! (August says, immediately rushing to help stop Twilight. Much like Alex, the heavy Zoroark also leaps onto Twilight to try to disrupt her.)
(July is still wildly worried about CAC, but follows August, Alex, and Tokage as well. Not knowing any binding moves, she opts to make a Scary Face at Twilight to try to slow her down.)
(June, not wanting Aaron to get petrified, but not wanting Spike to get hurt further or stray too far from where Oscar and Lucian are hiding, just stays rooted to her spot and looks on in extreme worry, still hanging on to Spike tight.)
(All this time, Oscar is still holding on to Lucian in their hiding spot, humming some of the songs they've learned since this whole adventure started to try to calm Lucian down.)

(Veena gasps in shock as Lapis gives Veena a pair of water-y arms. She can't help considering herself lucky that she's been turned into people with arms since this whole adventure started so that she actually sort of knows how arms work.)
(Veena yelps as shards of glass suddenly fly into her, but, of course, in her current state, the shards just float around inside her a moment before eventually falling back out.)
(Veena feels overwhelmed since Rarity is still a threat and and now Scipion is somewhat unsurprisingly letting the power he just got get to his head. Even in her current state she feels she can't do both at once.)
Lapis, I'll stop Rarity, you stop Scipion and I'll join you if you still need help! (Veena tells Lapis.)
(Veena rushes over toward Rarity like a serpentine tidal wave and forms her watery hands into fists.) Rarity, I'm sorry! (Veena says as she brings them down onto Rarity.)

I shall have everything prepared shortly...Barnes looked upon Caedia struggling with her nose and walked up to her. He flicked around her nasal area. I see it takes care of the problem? Very well, I shall be off... Barnes left to prepare the meals for everyone.

"Cheer up, Bezzy!" says Moon. "I'm sure there's someone else you can root for!"
"But who?" asks Star. "I barely know those other tributes."
While Bezier tries looking for anyone else interesting enough to root for, Power quickly finishes up her surprise for him. She goes back in front to present a slightly modified copy of her Wolverine costume

"Try this on, Bez. I hope it'll make you feel better about the season."
His ears perk up as he excuses himself once more to change. He then shimmies back to the Rec Room to show off his skirt.
"O-M-Esssss, Pow-Pow... it's PERRRRRR-FECT!"

6k1 darts her eyes nervously. She shuffles away from Nozomi's family and whispers to Juan, Stacy, and PV, "It's CAC... I wish I can tell you more right now, but it's rather awful timing that our guests just got here when this dropped..."
Just then, Ally and Rua return from the mini-lab, and the former is about to tell PV about Haban-Arrow when she senses 6k1's distress. Ally then gently puts a hand on the latter's shoulder.
Please allow me to entertain your latest visitors on your behalf.

Swain and Nomi have since walked onto a bustling street, and Nomi’s is telling Swain about how they ended up here. “Last thing I remember was my friends Marz and Sol overthrew our governor, and then I decided to take a nap, and then I ended up here. I’m glad Lum’s gone. He was a meanie.” “Yes, that incompetent leader of yours sounds like a complete ass. No sense of tactics or leadership.” I congratulate your friends for doing so.” Nomi smiled at him, and responded, “Oh, yeah, you should’ve seen Lum’s face, he was crying like a baby when they dragged him away! But enough about me, how’d you get here?” Swain tilted his head, as if he’s having a hard time remembering “Last I remember, I was walking through the Immortal Bastion, when I heard something coming from my study. I went in to investigate… and I appeared here. Odd when you think about it. I wonder if they’ve noticed my absence.” They continued walking for a while, before Nomi’s eyes widen and shouts: “Ooh! A restaurant!” Nomi points to a fancy-looking restaurant across the street. “Wanna go inside and eat something? I’ve never seen one of these before!” Swain tilts his head in thought, and finally says, “Alright. But I don’t think we have any money. Maybe we can make an escape when they ask us to pay. And, you are quite excited about the smallest things. It is a bit… aggravating. But let’s get on our way.” Nomi blushes a little. “S-sorry bout that. I’ve just only seen a big spaceship and an alien planet, so I get really hyper. But yeah! Let’s eat. I’m kinda hungry.” The two then continued towards the restaurant.

Kirby bounces back. He sees Twilight about to petrify CAC. And CAC is trying to hurt himself!
