So there's this other thread on Yack Fest called "Youtube Channel[s] You've Unsubscribed From and Why", and it's basically people kvetching incessantly about other people they don't like, as well as people shitting on the right for no particular reason. I hereby propose a thread that is the polar opposite of the above; take this opportunity to talk about any channels you've recently subscribed to and why as well as gush about channels that you really like. Hell, you can even shill any obscure channels if you so please; your words and opinions are all accepted here.

I've recently found myself subscribed to E;R, a dude who makes analysis/review videos about movies (and a video game this one time I guess). His humour is certainly...risque, but I find he always argues valid points/makes valid critiques.

Yeah, but I've never seen anybody shit on the far left. It's all rather peculiar...

Anyway, to get the ball rolling on this thread, I'm gonna shamelessly self-bump it by making another post about another YouTuber I recently subscribed to: SsethTzeentach, an African warlord note  who makes funny reviews about...peculiar video games, shall we say.

And why would they? What has the far left done lately to warrant such action?

I think the most recent one was either Lucahjin or Binging with Babish. I just think they're neat.

Thomas Sanders! I love how he keeps his content mostly clean and family-friendly (Some swear words have started slipping in, which I'm not the most happy about, but at least he has the decency to bleep them because he knows kids watch his videos.). The Sanders Sides series is quite brilliant in their presentation of everyday dilemmas and ways to work through them. His friend Talyn does the makeup for that series, which is so amazingly top-notch and another friend Joan helps him with the script writing and I think also costumes but I'm not sure. The way each of the Sides play off of each other is both hilarious and heartwarming to see. Not to mention the fact that he's got more Dark Sides in the works. His older Sanders Shorts/Vines are quite funny and although the later ones have seemed to drop off a bit in quality, there are still a few gems he puts out. It seems like he's not doing Misleading Compliments or Disney Pranks With Friends anymore (you'd have to watch his Vines to know what I'm talking about) which makes me really sad. I actually discovered his Vines back in 2015 and I've followed him ever since. It's technically not a recent subscription but he still remains my favorite You Tuber to this day. Feel free to skip over this if you want, as it's kinda rambly and I'm not the most popular here anyway.

Toonamp. Excellent animation critic who goes into extreme detail when making his videos. He's done a complete history of Fox Kids and he's currently working on retrospectives of Cable Cartoon Blocks (The pre-Cartoon Network ones like TBS Toons and the like) and Disney's Television Animation (so far he's covered Wuzzles, Fluppy Dogs, and Gummi Bears).

Chuggaaconroy. I just love how this guy is. He's funny, smart and is not like most YouTubers. There isn't a time where I wasn't feeling comfortable around him.

I can not recommend him enough.

Caitlin Doughty of Ask A Mortician fame. Not only are her videos really informative and interesting, they've also made me fear death less (Obviously I still don't want to die anytime soon, but I can now accept that fact that it'll happen someday anyway). She also introduced me to green burials, which I've decided I want done for me.

Somebody tell casioonaplasticbeach that the video in their forum signature kinda doesn't exist anymore.

Also wow people are actually posting in this thread, I kinda expected it to be ignored and for it to sink to the bottom of the archives like a dude who wronged the mafia in cement shoes.

I would like to recommend the channel Shammy, a dude who makes videos about video games, particularly with his 'An Actual Review' series. Having taking correspondent courses from the 'Yahtzee Croshaw School of Tortured Metaphors', his witty reviews can best be described as Zero Punctuation videos that last significantly longer, come with gameplay footage, and actually feature punctuation.

Recently subbed to Stephen Plays, as I liked a lot of his videos (especially the "memorable moments" ones), and having an association with other YouTubers that I like helps.

I recently subscribed to 3: Tier Zoo, Blue Lizard Jello, and Steve Reviews. Tierzoo is a unique channel that discusses nature like a competitive video game. Bluelizardjello is a fun video game guidemaker whos dark souls and dark souls 3 walkthrough allowed me to complete it the way I did. Lastly is Steve Reviews, he's a snarky reviewer of animation that is just generally fun to watch.

Speaking of Sseth Tzeentach though, how does he not have a TV Tropes page yet?

And to keep the post Relevant, KZ Xcellent is a fun and hilarious L Per (Who will do pretty much all L Ps blind, so if that's not your thing that will drive you crazy.). He's also on Gigaboots now, who also have good content.

CreepyProduce does some great challenge videos on Nintendo games, mostly Mario Kart Wii. He is really good at the games he plays, and his commentary is pretty nice and relaxing. He doesn't do any over-the-top reactions, which is nice.

I guess the one con is that he acts little cocky at times. In one video, he claims he just acts that way for fun, though.
