Your ideas for a Pokemon

After learning about the Legend of the Christmas Spider I really want to see a Bug or even Bug/Steel-type spider Pokemon that makes tinsel webs on pine trees.

Another ideadump bump:

• A 'mon based on the Puppeteer spider with an ability that automatically sets up a substitute the first time it enters a battle.
• A ghost-type that resembles a jar with honey oozing out; during some of its animations a skull can be seen in the jar. Based on the legend of mellified men.
• Small fish with sharp teeth that evolves into a large, tankier fish that mouthbroods a group of the prevos. The offspring feed the evo by attacking other 'mons and hiding within the evo's mouth.
• Dark-type Pyukumuku convergent based on bloodworms.
• Bug/Psychic line based on epomis beetles. Hypnotizes and predates on the Poliwag line.

Other random ideas I had when making my fake dex:

• An electric type snake that resembles an electrical cord.
• A steel/fire elephant that resembled a circus cannon.
• A ghost type drama mask that possesses people or something.
• A literal ground/poison type dust bunny.
• A pokemon based on dice, where they have a gimmicky chance-based moveset (Metronome, Assist, Destiny Bond, etc)
• A magician penguin.
• An electric/psychic type based on a brain.

Just learned about the idea of the toothworm theory and this seems like it would make an interesting regional Applin line.

Another ideabump:

• Rock-type Lechonk convergent based on chanchitos.
• Fairy-type Spidops convergent, constructs made out of yarn and kitting tools.
• Regional Timburr line based on the Agropelter fearsome critter. Fighting/Grass, uses natural logs instead of construction materials, final evo is a regional evolution called Agropelturr.

A psychic platypus. Maybe an evolution of Golduck or Bibarel.

Needs a fighting type variant (who swaps into a normal type form when undamaged) lol

Maybe as an ability but how would it activate? There are tons that change the user’s form under unique and specific conditions.

That's why I said "when undamaged". So think of it like Zorua's or Mimikyu's. One hit changes the mon.

• A peafowl which works like a male counterpart to Combee/Salandit, with most being female, but only males evolving. I'm not sure of what the unevolved form would be called, but the evolved one would be called Colorfowl.
• A reverse Pancham - a Dark-type that evolves into a Dark/Fighting-type when leveled up with a Fighting-type in the party, representing a redemption arc.

Thought of a Machop variant where the idea was to make an Expy of the Ralts line. Mainly through being a three stage Fairy type line with two different final evolutions. One of which gets the Fighting type.

• Machop - Fairy - Design wise, I was thinking they could have a light blue violet coloration along with wearing what looks to be a makeshift robe that would remind one of the uniforms worn by Hogwarts students. Would be pure fairy due to their inexperience with magic/psychic powers and they'd usually spend time training it's inner powers.

• Machoke - Fairy/Psychic - Would keep the robe but it'd be more refined and would now have a bowl cut akin to Mob and Mash Burnedead. Now able to easily use Psychic powers, it can use a variety of moves. They usually spend their days lifting anything heavy with their telekinesis such as boulders or logs.

Now, the final two evolutions are given through the Dawn Stone and depend on gender.

• If your Machoke is a male. It evolves into Machant (Macho + Enchant). A Fairy/Psychic wizard Pokemon whose gotten a beard, hair in the shape of a wizard's hat, and a staff. Being a master of magic, it would be a special oriented version of Machamp with a high Special Attack instead of a high attack stat.

• If Machoke is female. It evolves into Macharm (Macho + Charm). A Fairy/Fighting Dance Battler who channels its magic into it's physical attack. It'd be a sweeper being fast with good physical attacks but frail to balance it out. Would definitely cut its robe so it can be able to do it's sick moves as to charm any opponents.

I think bringing back shadow Lugia as a regional variant would save time while appealing to fans of the Game Cube games. Have it be a psychic/dark type with a focus on physical attacks.

With that in mind, Ho-Oh should deserve a regional variant too. Maybe a fire/fairy type to contrast Lugia’s dark typing. I can’t think of what it would specialize in nor what it would look like.
